ATTENTION ETORQUE OWNERS - because your fuel pump usually stops when your truck stops you may want to use a different fuse location. I suggest F35. I've tested this location and it also runs the lights only when the truck is running. Cheers!

Looks nice, thank you for sharing. Depending on how long you intend to own the truck, a best practice is to use and acid brush and 91% isopropyl alcohol to clean the solder joint of any residual flux prior to heat shrinking the connection. This, combined with the silicone protection, will extend the life of the soldered connection.

It’s been a couple years now… have you heard of any issues with etorque guys using F35? My 2023 Rebel comes in next week and this is gonna be one of my first mods. Thanks for your thorough video.

Great video brotha! I know absolutely nothing about electrical work. When you took the three positive wires and combined them into one for the fuse connector, is it as simple as connecting those three wires together at the end and adding a positive wire to all of them and then connecting that to the fuse connector?

Thanks for the video. Not very mechanically inclined. However your video makes me think I could do what you did. Only thing I wanted to think of doing different would be to run them on from the running lights. That way when running lights on they on. Wouldn’t that would as well?

It may require tapping into wires. I did not want to do that. I have done it on cars to add fog lights, but wasn’t comfortable doing it with this truck. That said, I’m sure it’s possible.

Have u had any issues with these lights. I have seven of these on my ram warlock grill. They last about 7 months. All of the plastic lenses crack leak and light goes out. Not just one all of them and they are from different orders too. I have same lights but red on rear of truck under tailgate. No issues. Might b winter temps my guess. Lights look 👍

Any concerns running the full voltage (albeit minuscule amount with these tiny lights) directly to the fuse box as power without wiring through a relay?

That's a great question. I see a lot of posts about relays. I'm curious why you would want a relay when the fuse offers the protection. Relays control the power, and in this case I don't need control because the lights fire when the item the tap is using engages, and they cut out when the tapped circuit loses power. .

Can those be hooked up to the running lights to stay on? Instead of popping the fuse? I love the looks of those.

The lights stay on as long as the truck is running, as the fuse tap is inserted in the fuel pump fuse slot. I am not sure how you would hook them up to the running lights. Thanks for watching!

I’ve heard horror stories of trying to link these to your existing lights in the new rams. There’s some sort of sensing system that shut things down if it notices irregularities in the power pull for the lights. One guy couldn’t even get his truck to start. There’s ways to do it, but you might have to do some digging.

My front grill RAM Emblem lights up at night with Cool white back lighting and I would like to get ember "TRX" lights like this but I only want them to run during the day to match my daytime amber marker lights. Any idea where I can tap the TRX lights into to achieve this?

I think you’d be looking at the #3 spot on a 7 way trailer plug. Brown wire. Here’s the diagram I used when I did mine. I’m not entirely sure it would run only with the running lights though. www.ajtnt.com/Info/7-Way-Diagram

I bought a set pre made from a guy who everyone in the Rebel community buys from but he wants me to remove 2 top louvers from the active grill and I refused to do that on a brand new 23 Rebel lunar. I still have the lights. How did you run them without interfering with the grill louvers?

Sorry I'm late to the party but I was looking for a better power supply. Does anyone know a fuse location I can tap that is only hot when the lights are on? I don't like these being on anytime the truck is running. Great video though, very insightful.

Is your Ram logo and skid plate both plasti-dipped?

The skid plate is Plasti-Dipped. I purchased black lettering for the RAM grill and switched it out. Initially I tried the Plasti-Dip but it didn’t hold up on the letters.

@@thegreatest7133 Dude I am stoked! Thank you. I bought the lettering form a local Dodge dealer on Ebay. I think I paid like $30. They are easy to swap.
