👋 The new SS Camaro 1LE is a BEAST!! 2021 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS 1LE has all the luxuries and all the performance! Today lets check out the new 2021 Chevy Camaro SS 1LE with an upgraded exhaust! And that 6.2L V8 sounds amazing! Full walkaround and review of the all new 2021 Camaro! This is the newest generation of the Chevy Camaro and is a nice daily drivable 2 door sportscar! The 2SS with 1LE performance package is an awesome trim level! The 2021 Camaro looks great and has an aggressive front end design. It really is a car you need to see in person to appreciate. The rear end is very bold and has a modern look especially with the three dimensional tail lights. I also like how the 2021 tail lights are not red, the clear lens looks great! Seriously, the front bumper is so sick! The V8 models have a different design than the V6 and turbo 4. All look so good in person. The Satin Steel Metallic exterior paint looked awesome and really shows off the brand new 2021 design! Overall I think the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro is a nice car with a lot to offer. It was comfortable, roomy, powerful and looks great! The interior of the 2021 Camaro was well laid out with minimal buttons with a clean look and feel. Recaro bucket seats add a great touch of performance. Test driving the 2021 Camaro SS 1LE, the car drove great and has plenty of power. The 2021 V8 Camaro had an amazing exhaust sound too! Sounded great going through the gears. 10 speed automatic transmission was pretty responsive and a lot of fun to use. A 6 speed manual is also available for added fun in the 2021 Camaro SS 1LE. 🏎

If you can properly adjust your mirrors, you can take away blind spots. So I have no issues seeing around the Camaro with them poked out a bit. I do that with my own cars and can always see a car in the mirror. As soon as they leave the rear view mirror, they are in the side view.

So for those who don't know. The 1LE upgrade is well worth it. It handles better than the non 1LE stock models due to the suspension and additional aerodynamic pieces. From what is explained from other car channels "It is extremely hard to find a track car this good for the price." The SS with the 1LE in manual has a better transmission than non 1Le. Better shifting and revmatching as well. The 1LE is one hell of a car

The 6th gen Camaro SS is very nice, love the beefy toned V8. I can probably get it to run low 11 seconds in the quarter mile easy in decent air with a set of drag radials.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed Just a set of drag radials is all that's needed for mods. The main problem with these big powered cars on the strip is always traction. The density attitude would have to be in the negative zone in addition to the drag radials for low 11s though. 😁

@@waic1639 I can see that for drag racing. It's not that powerful tho to really spin. I drove a ZL1 in the winter once and even did launch control and it barely broke loose.

I purchased a 2019 2SS convertible. I love the cosmetics and aesthetics. I love the motor and powertrain. I hate the lack of modern technology like Homelink, HD radio, navigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keep for safety. You would think that, like all other GM vehicles, those items would be included in a $51IK automobile just like they are in the $17K Spark.

Sounds great. I/P has been modified, 8" screen is standard GM. I supercharged my 2020 1LT 3.6 to over 400 RWHP (427) ; have the Bilstein Nordschlief B-14 front and rear suspension. It sounds AMAZING and you can hear the supercharger whine inside and outside. Oh....my payment? $334.91 @ 2.56%. on a 6 year loan. (I know I will need a 6060 clutch pack). The transmissions are exactly the same except the clutch. The supercharger is causing a "clutch overuse" information pop-up. The acceleration is SAVAGE. So, any time, anyplace, I will race on track.

I miss my 2018 1LE in Hyper Blue so much. Sold it for only 33,000 with 14k miles, now the same car with same miles runs for 44-45k. Boy what a mistake that was....

@@al151 I’m in San Antonio Texas, and ended up finding a satin steel 1SS 1LE in Tulsa, OK that I purchased for MSRP! Dream car and color, I was just about to order one myself. Feel like I got hell of a deal for the current market right now, every dealer in Texas has a $2-5k markup on any SS right now and not to mention they take a few months to even be transported after production.

Strongly considering placing an order for a manual 2ss 1le in the near future. I do NOT plan to track it, instead, plan to use it as a weekend car for joyrides etc. Does anyone have advice as to if this is too much car/ not necessary getting the 1le package if it will not be taken to the track? I understand the package is intended for faster lap times but is it still worth it for daily driving? Looking for the best drivers car for under 50k and this seems to be the best out there. Also just started a job at GM so the employe discount will help take 3-4K off msrp. Any thoughts?

Honestly you probably won't notice a difference between the normal SS and 1LE. It will still have Brembo brakes and an LSD right? If so, you're good to go!

thanks for the vid. Trying to decide between black and sharkskin, dealer will try to place my order tomorrow. To much unnecessary zoom, you rarely show the whole car in the frame :-( Probably go black. To me, 1LE in other colors look like a bunch of aftermarket black parts glued on all over it (JMO). Sucks there are no pictures of the new sharkskin, but I did find one of a buick encore in moonstone gray which is the same color.

Probably nothing in the short term lol. But stick with full synthetic at the correct weight. That will give this high performance engine the lubrication and cooling it needs to last a long time

Why would u do that lol. Most new engines require synthetic. U can get way more sludge n gunk built up in the engine with conventional oil. Synthetic is so cheap why go even cheaper lol

Exhaust is a bit higher pitched than expected. But how can the 1LE hit 0-60 in 3.5 seconds? 3.5 seconds is the ZL1, right?

Because that's what Americans use for speed measurements. That's like saying what is the speedometer in Kilometers per hour in the UK, that's what they use there! We don't use kph in the US.

Definitely not 3.5 sec 0-60. More like 4.2

Chevy claims the automatic does 3.5 seconds and the manual does 4 seconds. Keep in mind 0-60 times are tested in perfect circumstances most likely on drag strips. And they don't count the 1st 1ft of the run. So in real life yeah it'll probably be a tad slower.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed show me where you got the info please. Everywhere I look it says 4.3. It is very unlikely they are gonna have a different time for auto trans vs manual. 3.5 is corvette time in my opinion

www.carindigo.com/chevrolet/camaro-ss-coupe/0to60 I see a lot closer to 4 flat. But there are some showing a 2021 SS can do 3.5 Who know some may have tested it with drag radials on a strip and got that.

Guys the ss 1le does 0-60 in 4.8 seconds from a dead stop no rolling and banging 2nd gear with no lift shift on street setup. With drag radials low 4’s is possible. Please keep in mind the magazine times include 1 ft roll out. Auto does 0-60 in 3.9 to 4 second range. 3.5 seconds is ZL1 numbers on a good day.

I really like the Camaro's looks, but it's so cheap inside. It's like the worst of GM, especially for the money they're asking for these things. We know GM can do better than this.

Cheap compared to what? What else can you get with a significantly nicer interior at this level of performance for this money? Nothing, unless you're willing to spend at least $25 grand or more for something like an M4. Even then, the Camaro interior is actually pretty nice and was in fact ranked one of the 10 best interiors by Wards Auto in 2016.

@@nigel_white It’s cheap for its price. Why do GM apologists revert back to this same old excuse? GM can make a better interior than this. Period. Who cares what wards says? It was 2016, this is 2021.

@@MercOne This is my first and only GM car, having owned nothing but Japanese cars prior, so that is my point of reference. And again, name a car with this level of performance at this price with a significantly better interior.

@@nigel_white Name another car at this price with this cheap of an interior. Secondly this about it being cheap inside because of its performance is BS. It doesn’t cost GM anything to build this car. It’s using the cheapest type of V8 possible, ancient technology that doesn’t cost anything. The expense sure isn’t in the chassis either. So there is no reason they can’t at least come up with a Camry level interior.

@@MercOne if this level of performance (I'm talking road course, not just going fast in a straight line) is so cheap and easy to achieve then why do you have to spend 10's of thousands of dollars more from another brand just to equal it? How about faster than an Audi R8 V10 or a Mercedes AMG E63 S around VIR?

A similarly spec'd Mach 1 Premium would be approaching $10,000 more.

Just bought a 2SS 1LE in Riverside Blue and I can tell you this over the Mach 1 by A MILE. It's not even close. Motortrend did a comparison between this and the Mach 1 in June and this was better in pretty much every category.... oh, and it's $10-14k less than a Mach 1 with the "Handling Package".

Wow that's impressive! Does the Camaro have the magnetic ride suspension? I'd pick it over the Mach 1 for sure. But I'd pick a GT350 over the SS 1LE I think
