👁 About this video : Today we check out the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1!! This is such a sweet American muscle car, especially with the manual and finished off in this blue! The exterior has such an aggressive presence to it with the large openings, the canards to add more aerodynamics and the functional hood! The rest of the car has great lines to blend in with the front end design! The interior has very nice materials, from the alcantara to leather seats! There are all the amenities needed to make this a great daily driver and also all the performance needed to take this to the track or mountain roads! The drive is great! It's very smooth and comfortable, the manual is very engaging of course and the transmission to get over the 10 speed auto! It has the practicality of having back seats for people or extra storage and even a good size trunk. The exhaust note is great sounding too and you can change that tone depending on your mood!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed yea its one of the new colors for this year. Dealership called me last week and told me that GM accepted my order but i wasn't given an ETA. It probably won't be until the beginning of next year. Hopefully sooner🤞

Ambient lighting in a car such as a Camaro sounds like an indication that a lot of vehicles will be adding that to their interiors in the future even though it's obvious that a lot already have.

Yeah even before 10 years ago the last generation, it has non changed ambient lighting with blue colors as well as HUD which was pretty cool at that time.

The car will be leaning heavily on one side..... nevermind on that though I will just rent a Peterbilt dump truck if I ever need to transport my cousin (I have class B license moooo). 🐄 C6 Corvette Z06 is still my top choice, doing good so far on saving up for one of those beasts. 🍻

yes ! Has the black hood black mirrors legit everything. im only 19 and have had my 2019 since I was 16 and nothing puts a smile on my face like that car ever could. I love it more then anything and makes me wanna work harder in life and thankfully I got approved and everything I’m just playing the waiting game until she touches down in Maryland ! last time I talked to the dealership they said the 25th through the 29th of this month was there time window. Also bought it with a few other personal things I wanted like a already tuned cold air intake and everything.

Probably the Camaro because of the manual option! I had an allocation for the C8 and cancelled it to buy a manual R8! But I'd get the Camaro, the C8 is a cool car, but to me, it's nothing special like I thought it would be! I'd buy a C7 over the C8 any day too!

Oh nice! What made you go with a ZL1 after the GT500? I wish they had a DCT instead of the torque converter. Then it'd be right with the GT500

@@BrosFOURRSpeed 100% and because i was going for an amg gts but the bank did not like cause i only kept gt500 for 6 months. If i kept it for 12 i woulda been approved. So i made a big mistake didint know about that so the bank would only approve me for a 75k 80k car. So ill keep this for 15 months then get the next car i truly want.

Paddles aren't too responsive and it's too many gears. Drag racing is the only benefit. But normal driving and mountain roads, it's boring to have the auto

GTR is still a lot faster. The ZL1 would need a tune and full bolt ons to get close. This is pretty quick tho! His GTR stock is faster then the 2019 ZR1 Corvette. Good lord, this car was ruined with the dive planes when it isn’t a 1LE, the blue plastic things all over the interior, and the brace under the hood. How can someone have done so much with it only having 72 miles?!! Good and substantive review though!

I didn’t think you could get the 1LE dive planes on a non-1LE. I’m guessing this is a mod based on the interior mods.

Well the ZL1 is the top trim level, so it'll have those stock!

The stock tires on the Super Stock are what limit it's speed. The ZL1 is certainly a faster car tho!

All three of those cars will offer something different. If you want classy and luxury, Mercedes is great. Comfort and power, the Hellcat is good. ZL1 is all about performance and power

Nice but reminds me of the Bugattis in that they need to get the weight down. But if Camaro is actually going away in a couple years, probably a mute point for GM.

Yeah it's a bigger car regardless. But the Camaro was never a super lightweight car. It could shed some pounds tho. Doesn't really feel all too fast for such a big engine

That'a a tough one. Probably this because it has a manual and handles very well. I wish the GT500 had a manual. And the Challenger is too big and heavy for my taste

“Functional” back seat? There is absolutely NO legroom in back seat of this car unless you’re only 5 ft tall and move the front seat WAY up (I owned a 2SS for 3 years).

That's a tough one. Probably GT350 just because it is such a mechanical car. ZL1 is faster, but the GT350 feels special

Keep in mind HP number isnt everything. This ZL1 will smoke a Hellcat. If you have driven a Hellcat you'll know they aren't really that fast. They weigh over 4,500 lbs. Seriously, it's a slow car when you realize that 707 HP doesnt feel like anything with the weight.

At this time of the video, used cars and new cars we’re extremely scarce. If you wanted one and one was available, you paid what it was. I agree I’d never pay over but lots of people did.
