Honestly I find that the 10th gen looks more modern and the 11 looks like something from the late 2000s. Anyone else?

Saw one at a Sam's Club gas station yesterday. Did a double take because it really looks like Accord.

2021 10th Gen exterior looks 10/10 (My Favourite) 2022 11th Gen interior looks 10/10

While I prefer the look of the 10th gen, I like that the 11th gen exterior looks like the car is solid! One thing I complained about when I got my 17 hatch was that it took forever to detail because of the body moldings, side skirt, and small nooks. The 11th gen seems like it’ll be faster to clean. Except the air vents though.

I like the old exterior better. New civic interior except for that after thought stick up in your face infotainment screen.

The best thing I can say about the exterior design of the 11th gen is...I don’t hate it. This is a more refined, less sporty, vanilla family sedan Civic. Maybe, in four or five years, Honda will return to a more aggressive, more sporty design. Until then, I’m glad I own the 10th gen.

All said and done, I like the 10th gen more than 11th. The old one looks more sport and stylish...

I think the new civic looks really classy but I prefer my 2020 Si, I love the aggressiveness. The larger infotainment is nice too but I like how it's more tucked down in the 10th gen, all the newer cars feel like they just stuck a tablet on the dash. Overall though I think the new gen will be another smash hit for Honda.

The 10th gen was ahead of its time in design exterior. I knew that the moment it was debut couple years ago. The curves and minimal design notes made it edgy but modern.

This kid does extremely good reviews,very calm voice pitch and relaxed pace,very clear talker,he will do very well.

Since they scaled down. It would’ve been cool if the old generation came out after the new one.

More simple and reminds me of the older accords. Phasing out crab claw tails is good too. Less chrome. Not everyone's cup of tea but I like it lol.

For some reasons i like the design of the outgoing model, looks sportier while the new model is simplier and cleaner

Different strokes for different folks. I still like the old design more. I may be biased since I bought a Hatchback a couple of months ago. Depending on how the new hatchback looks I might upgrade after 4 years to one. And the Sport Touring from the 10th gen also makes 180HP.

imo the 10th gen looks more aggressive and attractive than the new gen in many different aspects. I just bought the 21 civic sport over the new 22 because of this. i am not a fan of the new infotainment placement or the new display behind the wheel. I feel the display behind the wheel looks dated compared to the 10th gen. I love the aggressive angles that made this car look unique as well as the huge C taillights. The new civic isn't a bad looking car by any means, I just feel like it looks more like an NPC car. I feel like the new gen kinda misses what makes the Civic unique from the Accord.

Gen 10 still looks better! The only good looking about the Gen 11 is the interior

I remember one day in early 2016 I saw a 10th generation civic on the road. It impressed me. Looked Aggressive with a low stance and had a sporty edge. I was surprised to learn it was a civic. This new generation would not have the same effect. It's generic looking and easily could've come out 10 years ago.

I prefer the front of the new Civic, the back of the old Civic and the interior of the......... Mazda 3

The 10th gen civic looks WAAAAAY better. I own a 2017 Type R and LOVE it. The new civic looks like a car your grandma would drive to bingo. Its god awful ugly. I saw -nothing- of the new civic that I like at all. 10 Gen is for car enthusiast and the new one is made for everyday older people. I dont understand why they didnt just call the new one an Accord.

I like the older one better. I like my 06 two-door even better than either one of these.

I like the older ones rear, but love the subtle front fascia differences of the new one.

The 2021 civic looks way better. The infotainment screen looks like an afterthought on the 2022 model. I hate it when car makers just put the screen on top of the dash.

I bought a brand new 2023 Civic Touring in January and absolutely love it! (After driving my ‘02 Civic LX for 18 years, it was definitely time for an upgrade.) The 10th gen Civic had a racer boy/teenager look/feel to it. This 11th gen Civic has a more understated look/feel to it. With it’s slightly European flare and gorgeous interior, it’s very classy. Honda is going back to its design roots and I think this car will age beautifully. Honda is moving upmarket with their cars and seems to be targeting women in their 30’s-50’s with money to spend. The Civic Touring is almost semi-luxury now, no longer a car for college kids. I’m in my mid-40’s and they certainly got me with this new 11th gen Civic! Mine is meteorite gray which seems to have pretty sparkles in the paint. (It almost seems to have a slight blue hue to the gray, but that may be my imagination. Either way, it’s gorgeous.) The interior is a two-tone black/gray with gray seats, though they look ivory to me. It may sound silly, but it almost looks like an executive sedan. I’m super happy with the understated exterior styling and beautiful luxury interior. Honda has knocked it out of the park with this new 11th gen Civic and I’m still a huge Civic fan!

I like the styling of the new, 11th generation Civic than the 10th, I have to say. It's much more restrained and does not feel as over designed. I also do like how the A-pillars were moved backwards as they said. I think it gives it better proportions. The old one looks more futuristic, but I actually feel like new one will age better. The one thing I don't like about the styling is the very front of the hood. From certain angles, the piece of body work above the Honda logo feels kind of droopy, like honey that's about to spill over the table edge. It's more or less obvious depending on from which angle the car is seen.

Design wise I feel like the new one looks more generic. Specially the rear side, you know it's a 10th gen when you see those tail lights night or day.

Things went from smooth to edgy, and now back to becoming smooth.

Just got a 2021 civic sport (after my 2018 civic was totaled r.i.p.) a few months ago and I don’t regret my decision after seeing the 11th gen

When the new civic premiered I was astounded at the departure (happily so). It did not even occur to me how similar they actually are. Seeing them side by side of course it is a departure and a new look but man, they changed less than I thought when looking at the new without the old next too it.

Most common feature of make overs is moving brake lights onto or off of the trunk. So funny how every make over always does this.

The interior looks more upscale, other than that honeycomb strip. But the exterior just looks more generic, almost to the point of boring or nondescript. But no doubt they will still sell a boatload of them.

This model keeps getting bigger and bigger. Remembering the early 90s civic now. Today’s looks like the accord.

I feel weird because I really like the new civic. I have always been on the fence about the civic because to me, it has always had this teen vibe to it. I like how much more sophisticated it looks now. It's on that edge of possibly being mistaken for a luxury car that I think Mazda also does really well. Very curious to see what the hatchback is going to look like. Either way, I think this is going to be my new car.

The exclusion of the LaneWatch camera on the side mirror is actually a pretty big dealbreaker for the 11th gen. The camera is way more useful and informative than a simple blindspot light.

The vents looks like it’s going to be a nightmare to keep clean on the new one.I hate gloss black because it looks dirty and fingerprints everywhere.

I still love the last generation,the only thing I like on the new civic is interior design and speakers.

Old ones looks better. Older people may prefer the more boring look of the new one, though.

I'm a 12 gen corolla guy here, but I like both of these Civic's. Out going one looks more youthful while the new one looks more mature. Oh btw I'm 50, and I think after new model is out for a year or so, most who like the gen 10 better will probably change their mind as the new one grows on them. I've seen this before with other models

I like that they put the radio up top. I hate in my Civic that it's below the vents and air always hits off the top back of the radio and shoots air in my face when I want it to go more at my chest.

Well, the new Civic looks like a cross between and Accord and an Altima. I really hope they step up with the Hatchback, these things keep getting more and more vanilla every year. Great video!

they are literally making the old cars look newer by making the new cars more simple. The car market is such a scam, why can’t they just make it look meaner and better than being more simple 😐 so bland i would go for the camry than this or even the corolla

I have a 2020 Honda Civic. The new design Civic is starting to grow on me. I like the new interior a lot more modern feel. I’m gonna get the Touring model which it is not all that expensive compare to other car models that are more expensive for all bells and whistles.

U guys forgot the Bose 12 speaker audio system in the touring model in 11th Gen. Very uncommon for Honda to use other than their own brand but I feel this Is a HUGE upgrade and difference!

I still love the 10th Civic, the style looks far ahead of its time....the new one is good and perfect but in that case, I gonna look for something else like Mazda or VW...

I like the 10 gen more aggressive front wheels back , only thing I like about the 11 gen it’s the inside interior glocy but I would go for the 10gen outside matter more for me .

Those honey cone vents are going be a SERIOUS dust magnet. The back on the new civic look more like the Sonata ( horrible manufa.. car company).

Honda does a good job making a design that stands the test of time, even if initially it doesn’t seem so. Give it a bit and see.

I love the look of the exterior of the 10th gen. it has this awesome mean but cool look specialty when it is in a dark grey color. I was really disappointed that it changed the look of 2022, but they made looked weaker, so based on the exterior, I picked 2021 over the 22.

I love the new one. Its more mature looking. Tho i think they went too far on making it look too generic. 10th had some unique honda only design going for it that i wish they kept a little. FD still the best looker for me. Interior of the 11 is killer.

I always thought the 21 was way over styled. I was thrilled when I saw the show model. It’s back to the way it supposed to look in my eyes.

Hard to believe that the Civic has the same amount of cargo space as the 'midsize' Mazda 6.

We bought a Honda because the design is screaming FUN. For me, the old one nailed it both exterior and interior. The new one does look good and I actually like the interior.

They fixed the silly hvac controls of the current model. Having it completely segregated from the touch screen is a must have. There’s a lot to love about my ‘19 sport touring model, and a lot to hate.

Good luck cleaning that honeycomb grill. The new piano black trim is already collecting quite a bit of dust(as shown on the video). I can’t imagine how scratched that trim piece will be when you attempt to clean it. Car hasn’t yet grown on me yet. Can’t wait to see the actual drive reviews.

It's interesting that current Sonata have gone for the crab claws of the older Civic and new Civic have gone for the rear-end styling of the Sonata from two generations ago. I think current Jetta is also using this styling.

Overall its not bad but it feel its missing that "excitement" element to finish it off. The interior is pretty nice but i still prefer the old one. Basically it feels a little unfinished to me...something's missing.

It looks like a combination of a mini accord mix with an Audi a4. Honda did an amazing job making their vehicle look luxury/European however most of us Honda enthusiast would rather have a Japanese car look like a Japanese car.

They say Civic more looks like the Accord. But when the Accord came out, they say it more looks like the Civic.

As an owner of the 10th gen Civic, I love the new Civic's design as it has a 90's vibe to it.
