This was the best demo I have ever seen in my entire life. Ive never thought id be able to see the raptor being pushed this hard with my own eyes. Some guy brought his kids who sat next to me as we watched. They went nuts when the RaZZ pulled it into the vertical climb after takeoff. So amazing. Best fighter in the world. 🇺🇲
With the lighting you could see the afterburner exhaust so clearly and I didn’t notice any vectoring at all through the demo. Did anyone else see any place where you could notice thrust vectoring? If not then it just shows how much they are limiting it for these demos.
@@HouTexHemi None, in fact, F-22 does not need thrust vectoring to point its nose or perform such maneuvers. Thrust vectoring on the F-22 is just a bonus.
The color changes on the Aircraft are stunning with the twilight show going from grey to a firegold with the angle change to the setting sun. Now I'm spoiled and want to see all the shows like this ! The clouds in the back ground are a plus with it adding speed, texture, and a reference for attitude change without a horizon to help.
Whats funny is that the certain senator from where ever the F35 is from promised X amount of jobs that would build said fighter jet, while the superior jet fighter known as the F22 Raptor was scratched bc the US congress is corrupt AF...All defense contract companies have 90% of congress members in their pockets...all it takes to bribe a senator is literally like 10k
In real combat, it seems like the pilot's ability to maintain consciousness is the only possible limitation to the full spectrum of insane maneuvers the F22 can perform.
I was there during this demo and I have never seen or experienced something like this in my life! It was one of the most amazing experiences ever and I just wish I could see that airplane fly every single day!
I used to be a DOD contractor supporting operations at LAFB in Hampton, VA when these amazing birds came in to replace the F-15 squadrons. We'd spend our lunches just staring in awe as they did their exercises right in front of us. I still get that same feeling today when I watch videos like this. Thank you!
The F-22 is so capable, and we are so confident in it, that its maneuverability is public entertainment and posted on youtube. Pretty wild. Cool to imagine what they aren't willing to showcase. Great camerawork!
Thanks a lot for sharing ! Colors and lighting are stunning on this one ! The Raptor is such a beast, years ahead of the competition. Greetings from France 🇫🇷 and God Bless America ! 🇺🇸 🤙
This was my family’s first time at Oshkosh and it was amazing. However, one of the coolest parts of it was that on friday we had picked out a spot right behind the line where you could not go beyond. Turns out Spencer was in front of us the whole day and we had no idea. We introduced ourselves and told him I had been following is content for years. He was incredibly kind and nice and had a great conversation with him. And got a cool selfie for a souvenir 🤘🏻. Thanks Spencer for what you do for this community!
I've seen this plane preform at mtn home afb and when he did this fly over the flight line ... it was beyond LOUD !!! The b1 and this rapture are my fav planes !!!!
@tbmdd I beg to differ. The F35 IS louder when they go vertical. But that's because the thrust is facing down. Also the F22 Raptor can reach mach 1 without the afterburner engaged.
@@tylerwickwire1522 I've attended nearly every airshow there is to attend in the US and abroad and I can say with absolute certainty the F-35 is the loudest jet I've ever had the pleasure of watching. It's so loud it rattles/vibrates your bones/insides.
Getting to see this in person was astounding. I was on the far left side of the line so he flew directly over me several times in this particular show.
The soundscape has to be really great on site. In Germany, where I live, something like that is unthinkable. F-22 is a great airplane, it looks great when tilted and really great with the sunset.
I’ve seen a Raptor demo once, about 10 yrs ago in Oregon. Now I have the chance to see one at Oceana in Sept. You know this airplane is the baddest of the bad if the Navy is inviting a USAF bird to their show….
This an absolute beast of a machine. I live about 20 miles north of Dayton Ohio, and we get to see it every few years or so. Some of the maneuvers this thing can do are mind blowing.
Seen the Raptor fly man times. But this time during the evening and the sky glowing made the Raptor look even more stunning. Beautiful capture! Thank you for sharing!
You have to give kudos to the pilot. He must be in fantastic physical condition to withstand those kinds of maneuvers and the g forces produced and still be able to think clearly. Also, the Raptor is a fantastic design, so beautiful to look at and such flyability !
Nice video. Love the twighlight shows at Oshkosh... especially with the clouds in the background. Very dramatic. For my money with the variety of aircraft during each days flying, Oshkosh is far and away the best airshow on the planet. F-22 always a highlight but so many great aircraft on display and in the air over the full week. Loved the Lockheed Constellation flyby and landing- but there are dozens of fantastic arrivals over the course of the week. I have noticed the crowds seem to be bigger every year... seems like the word got out.
Awesome video and demo. The twilight is a neat variation. I have seen F-22 demos several times in person and this one is really nice. The turns @4:08 and @6:12 and the vertical climb at @6:55 are just awesome displays of power and manuverability.
Marvelous Video!! Perfect sky and Incredible Tracking and Sounds!! The "surly bonds of earth" were definitely "slipped" on this afternoon! THANK YOU for sharing! Beavercreek, OHIO, just a few miles from the USAF National Museum
Absolutely insane-O!! My new order of top 5 all time fave jets is: F-22, F-16, F-35, F-14, F-18. The exhaust is even redic. Craziest looking afterburner. Almost looks fake. The pilot in this is superb!🇺🇸Merica!!
Definitely one of the better demo's of the F22 that I've seen in sometime & I've seen many--even the lighting was exceptional for the show--just beautiful. Those Pratt & Whitney F119 engines roaring out that sound of freedom.
Crazy I think of how much thrust must be coming out of the engines in order for the afterburner flame to be that long and stay rigid in the turn and not be blown out of shape
I have to agree- this is an awesome video of the F-22 Raptor in action, showing exactly what it’s capable of when flown by a skilled pilot. And the beautiful orange sky in the background and expert filming just adds to the entire experience. I’ve been to plenty of military airshows back in the day… this video makes me feel like I’m there again! 👍👍
thanks for the post, very amazing! I went to Oshkosh air show many years ago think it was 1994 lol, it was the greatest, there were so many F15s and 16s and 18s and many more! fake napalm and all lol.
Well done I don't know what to say. I enjoyed watching this level of skills from a pilot special to see this attractive show by the best jet f22raptor.This is the best demo I've ever seen in my life. Well done.
