Owned it for a month and still enjoy it. Biggest issue and problem I faced is the brake pads are garbage. For whatever reason they decided to put awesome calipers and rotors and then put generic Kia pads. I took it on the track and after lap 1 they were smoking and I had brake fade and needed to stop. After looking at all the message boards, reddit pages etc, it's been an ongoing issue for a few years now. Other than the brake pads, I've had no other major issues. Minor gripes are the lane assist/collision avoidance is terrible and feels like its 10 years old compared to what it's capable of in today's current cars.

@@dewfall56 yeah, the main power mods are lap3 stage 2.5 ecu, stage 3+ tcu, and 100% methanol injection. velossa tech wide mouth air scoops, bms cold air intakes with carbon fiber covers, hks plugs at stock gap, ark catless secondary downpipes and a thermal r&d catback exhaust, on 4 gallons e85 and the rest 93, enkei wheels and continental dws06 sport plus 18+ tires.

@@waynetobey6589 Congrats! I just got mine a few hours ago. It feels and looks incredible even as a previous GT2 owner. Bringing it home reminded me of some things I needed to keep in mind the last time. So FYI - look at properly bedding the brake pads. I think it’s in the manual. Also, break in your sound system by keeping songs at lower volumes for a while and slowly easing them into louder volumes.

Buy a Suede/Nubuck cleaner it will make it easy, the GT2 has ventilation seats; that takes care of the hot feel 😁 👍

It can go either way, full ev’s are being pushed but most buyers still wait a hybrid or gas engine. Congratulations they are awesome 👍

@@HawkeyeRides thanks! I just had to jump on the opportunity when I saw one available. No regret either way, but would be a nice bonus if the value holds 😁 I don’t drive too much so I won’t be putting that many miles on it, at least.

​@@evenheller209it's hard the tell. Could get either way. It's different than the G8 and SS that it's a TTv6 which is less sought after than say a V8 for enthusiasts. The stinger didn't sell well so there are not many of them which could help. I went with a CT4 blackwing cause I wanted a manual but I heavily considered this and the G70. At the end of the day it's a car which most of the time is a terrible investment so I'd just enjoy it and not worry about the resell value.

I was very surprised by the sound in this video. Doesn’t sound this good in real life lol, I have the variable exhaust version too

They added valves to open/close the exhaust for 22.

The Type S is about 4-5k more at base price, with a twin scrolled turbo and ranching 60 about .2 seconds slower. Great vehicle but this almost fully loaded with a twin turbo, more hp and torque is at base price TLX Type S. Kia really made a sweet spot vehicle but this is the last of it unfortunately 👍

Every vehicle has little issues but great vehicles over all 👍

I was talking about the competition exhaust sound, some of them will have a more louder sound but I like what the Stinger gives for an exhaust sound.
