If I were Poland, I'd arm up like Texas too... They can never be sure what neighbor is going to decide they want to atempt to absorb them next. Invoking the Doctrine of Fuck Around and Find Out is a smart play.
OK, for the record. I served on the USS Iowa back in 87-90. The US would need to be very, very desperate to even consider returning an Iowa class battleship back to active duty., and even if we got the desperate, it would probably be faster and cheaper just to build a new ship.
When have we done anything cheap and efficient ?…we (USA) Always do things expensive and a time Consuming….sounds like the Big J and Whiskey need ah fresh coat of paint🎉🎉🎉🎉🤣🤣🤣🤣🫡🫡🫡🫡🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Well the Iowa class battleships were impressive a lot. Imagine a new Iowa class with all the modern stuff but keeping the main guns... huh mother.... that ship would be a killer at all...
Video's are amusing. The 1 million shells comment had me wondering. Chech Republic has "found" shells to purchase to supplement theirs. I kept thinking of ways to lose a million shells and well...155mm rounds are pretty fucking big. Prices start at 3 grand each, damn!
@stephaniewilson3955 My comment wasn't meant as a dig. It's just these shells are big. Only 16 fit on a pallet. I'm to lazy to do the math but 16 goes into a million a bunch. The storage space alone is stunning. Take my comment with the context it was presented in this video. Chech Republic "found" one million rounds, that just the Chech Republic happened to have all these shells laying around all willy-nilly til someone stumbled over them. "Well damn, who put these here?"
Ukraine already used some atacms on a huge grouped up infantry unit that was training in the wide open with their vehicles park next to each other Ukraine hit it with four cluster atacms and video taped it with a drone
I mean Uncle Sam took 5 days and 2 nukes to sink USS Nevada. If we didn't, I'm willing to bet that it could've EASILY sunken the Bismarck in a 1v1 battleship fight. Also, don't tell Russia to attack USS Enterprise (the oldest American battleship). That I can guarantee that several branches will be having Battleships with them to keep the branches from not adding to the Geneva To Do list.
Really like your work bud,but Iran and Russia been humbled ?!!? Really? that's a bit of a stretch, considering no one will actually make the decision to actually get around humbling them. Not that it can't be done.
