2024 Honda CR-V vs. 2024 Subaru Forester 

Test drove both in the snow, up and down hills, and through town. I went with the 2024 Forester Touring. What wasn't mentioned in the video is that the Forester has a quieter cabin, better visibility, and a giant freaking moon roof! Also, there's just something about how well Subarus handle in the worst of weather conditions. That being said both are great choices. I have previously owned a Subaru (1990 Legacy Wagon) and a Honda (2004 CRV), both performed well for 20+ years with minimal maintenance.

I test drove both brands in December 2023. I drove the 2024 Honda Hybrid Touring AWD. I felt the Pro was: Quiet Engine, Felt Powerful, 33mpg hwy on AWD. Con: Heated Steering Wheel was $5k more than the Forester Touring with Heated Steering Wheel., wasn't recommended to have a Trailer Hitch, Navigation Screen obstructed outward vision. Price is $5k higher. Subaru Forester Touring Pro: Heated Steering Wheel was standard equipment, Trailer Hitch is a available option, Navigation Screen is inset into dash, doesn't block outside view. AWD is standard equipment. Price is $5k cheaper. Con: engine noise, Less powerful engine. Hwy mpg 32. I purchased a 2024 Forester Touring in Cascade Green with Brown & Black Leather interior. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. ❤

Forester for me

Only have 32k on my 2018 turbo forester. No problems in five years so hoping to keep it my usual 17 years. Unless Subaru brings back the turbo engine to the Forester, then I might be tempted to upgrade.

Your title announces that it compares the 2024 models. But I think that your images and some of the comparison do not conform to what is published, even for both models. By 2024 if there is electrification (already from 2023) in the Subaru Forester. I have had the opportunity to drive both, although from previous years, 2021 and 2022 respectively. The Forester definitely has better handling on and off the road. The low center of gravity provided by its boxer engine, permanent 4-wheel drive give it excellent control, and its suspension is also superior to that of the CR-V. The consumption if they are better in the Honda CR-V, but this is due to the integral traction, as standard, in the Subaru. Maintenance is more expensive, although not much, on the CR-V. The interior of the CR-V is very good, in that if I agree with you, the Forester's is not bad. Greetings.

Just where did You get information on the 24' Forester.........Car has not yet been built or revealed.......But Subie Rep tells Me Forester will be new ground up in 25'.................Paul
