Hi Colin, as you know I like all decades of music but I have the say that the time between 1965 and 1975 is something special. The music was so moving and developing at the time. That's so cool to hear! As a 90s kid I am re- discovering some of the early 90s music. Specially the "Seattle Sound" really fascinates me. There is a lot to discover. Unfortunately some 90s bands never made it on vinyl or their albums are ultra expensive. Hello Robert, it's absolutely true what you say. Normally the german stereo magazine focussed on digital hifi etc. They decided to do a huge analog special in every second issue now. This first one was about "How to start a record collection". They explained why it is so important to take care of the records, showed different cleaning machines and all that kind of stuff. +AudiophileLaws Wow man, have not bought a magazine in years but I may have to order that issue ..Yes we need people to learn how to clean and even treat vinyl with a protector..Have you ever hear of LAST Record Preservatve and Gruv Glide products? LAST has gotten very expensive but it is good for 200 plays,it is a shield against wear and Gruv Glide does about the same thing and takes away static..Look for them on the internet and read about what they can do if you are not familiar with them..................... Thanks for watching and commenting! I didn't listen to much Krautrock in the last months but since a few weeks I am back in a way. I found two original green Brain pressings of the NEU! albums and I am discovering some more unknown stuff at the moment. In the Krautrock genre you have some "famous" bands but there are also some small, little bands that just recorded one album and then disappeared forever. Sometimes the music of those bands is so interesting but you can imagine how hard it is to get it on vinyl. I am just glad that there are some good reissue labels. +Christian Seydewitz Hallo Christian, Freut mich, dass du über die Stereo auf mich aufmerksam geworden bist. 4500 LPs sind schon eine gute Hausnummer! Schade, dass du die Sammlung Anfang der 90er abgestoßen hast aber so ging es vielen damals. Der Oldie Markt ist mir ein Begriff. Mit dem Aufkommen des Internets ist er meines Wissens allerdings immer stärker zurück gegangen. Dennoch sehr schön, dass du noch 1000 Stück behalten hast. Für Tipps bin ich immer offen! Ich bin auch großer Fan der progressiven Rocks aus den späten 60ern und frühen 70er Jahren. In dieser Zeit kamen wirklich unfassbar viele gute und vor allem innovative Alben raus. Es wurde viel ausprobiert und experimentiert und das wirkt sich auch auf die Qualität und die Abwechslung in der Musik aus. Für mich ist das mit die musikalisch spannendste Zeit überhaupt Vielen Dank für's reinschauen! Grüße aus Duisburg Armien

Well I have to say that I really like to buy Jazz as japanese pressings. It's almost impossible to find any US originals here in Germany so the japanese pressings often are a good way to go. I also like some "cheesy" 80s albums as japanese pressings. Some of them sound way better than the german or US pressings. I only listened to the Mofi Weezer once but I really liked it. It can be found quite cheap actually so I would recommend it. Thanks for watching and commenting :) Armien

This Mariah Carey album was a very special find. It's a pressing from Korea. I never saw something like that before. I found it at a local record store and only had to pay like 10$. I will show detailed it in one of the next videos. Thanks for watching :) Armien

Headhunters and Thrust are sister albums ( 4 tracks on each ) and is by far his best Jazz-Fusion work. Love your vids , you have passion with genuine joy.

Ein Klassik Video wäre tatsächlich mal was. Viele haben ja Berührungsängste mit dem Genre aber es gibt etliche tolle Sachen. Miles Davis wäre auch etwas aber das würde erstmal den Rahmen sprengen. Eine Klassenfahrt nach Berlin? Klingt gut! Ich war selber noch nie zum Plattenkaufen in Berlin - habe aber schon viel gutes gehört. Frag am besten mal in unserer Vinylsammler Facebook Gruppe nach. Da gibt es bestimmt viele hilfreiche tipps. Es kommt natürlich auch drauf an welches Genre man sucht. Danke für's reinschauen mein Freund! Armien

+AudiophileLaws Mein Klassik-Einstieg war Beethovens 3. Klavierkonzert unter Böhm und inzwischen bin ich Wagnerianer-Anfänger, aber Beethoven hör ich immernoch sehr gern. Und in deinem (zukünftigen :P) Klassik-Video darfst du auch gerne auf deine Solti-Gesamtbox eingehen :D Ich find sie immernoch faszinierend, hab von Solti aber nur Das Rheingold und den Siegfried als DMM. +AudiophileLaws Ich kenns schon, hab die diesjährige Bayreuther Neuinszenierung angesehen, hab aber nur den ersten Akt mit ach und krach durchgehalten, weil das Bühnenbild mit all diesen Treppen auf Dauer im Kopf wehtat.
