We finally get to the Olympic Peninsula via historic Highway 101 and arrive in the quaint little town of Port Angeles on the northern tip. We stay with some fellow Westsail owners for a few nights and meet back up with Catrina and Jordan to explore the town where we ran into MORE folks from Louisiana. Pay close attention to the guy in the Tulane hoodie!
After exploring the beautiful property and the town, it was time to check out some of the more scenic parts of the peninsula. We take the motorcycle and head down some very curvy roads to visit Cape Flattery which is the most northwest point in the lower 48 states. It didn't disappoint with its craggy shores and beautiful but chilling waters.
More birds, more scenery, more motorcycling and more drinking with friends. Enjoy!

In 1966 my wife and I lived on the Lighthouse at Cape Flattery. We were in the Coast Guard at the time thanks for sharing

What? WOW that's incredible. What are the chances? So tell me, what was it like to live on a lighthouse on the edge of the country? How did you even get to it and get groceries and the like? Did they give you a dinghy? So cool...

It really wasn't a bad place to stay for newlyweds. We had to order our food over the phone sometimes it would take a week sometimes it would take a month to receive it depending on the weather. We made lots of friends. We did have a small boat for emergency use. We did lots of fishing, got to see the whales migrating north.

That sounds right up our alley, similar to living on a boat!

I noticed you said you were going to, "keep the RV here through the 4th of July weekend." I really enjoy your videos but I think they would be more relevant if they were more current. I know there are many channels on RU-vid that do not post daily or weekly, rather they are more project-oriented and they do something over a period of time and then post it when it's done. But, VLOGS, by their very definition, are supposed to be logs of daily life and adventures. I would feel a lot more engaged if I felt like I was experiencing life with you rather than following you with a month old report. I watched your "Patrons...Thank You" update video in the Grand Tetons, which points up what I'm saying. What happened to the 1,000 miles between Cape Flattery and the Grand Tetons? Now that Tate has gotten his second wind and been revitalized maybe you could bring us along on the trip a little more currently. That would really be nice and a lot more fun. Thank you.

Jim, Appreciate the comment but these videos are as current as they can be. I think most adventure vloggers are at least a couple of weeks if not months or even up to a year behind. The way we travel, out of cell phone range often and also the amount of time we spend filming and then processing the films to a quality we are proud of takes A TON OF TIME, and really doing it real time isn't possible unless we just upload any old thing as it happens. We are trying to tell a story of an RV trip across the country so that later, months and years from now, people will be able to watch the series and experience the trip. I'm sorry we can't make it more real time for you I really wish there was a way. To be honest I was proud of our videos being so "real time" as is. When we head back to Panama the videos will be this "far" behind as well. Thanks anyways for stopping by!

Oh sorry, forgot this one thing. The upcoming videos will pick up right where #23 left off. The Patron Thank You video was just an impromptu video to give a little preview of what's coming up. We will explain what happens over the next 1,000 miles in #24 and #25.
