@@BarberJ95 Terrifying police state? Yeah look up how the West German puppet government intelligence agency was literally founded by ex-nazi Reinhard Gehlen and also the Is major general of the Bundeswehr (Poor Man's Wehrmacht) Hans Speidel; a proud German fascist whos disagreements with Hitler over identity politics were enough to absolved of any wrong doings to Western liberals. Also human rights abuse? Just read about Helmut Kentler's experimental project and child predator rings in West berlin during the 1970s.
Cayó vencida de forma deshonrosa, impropio del carácter viril y aguerrido del pueblo alemán, sin disparar un solo tiro, aceptando una componenda de la URSS y la RFA, sin participar en nada, como una colonia soviética sin poder alguno. Mansamente. Una deshonra.
@@B52Stratofortress1 I knew that but never imagined they'd celebrate it, they called it " anti-fascist, protection barrier to allow the east Germans to develop a peaceful socialist way of life". But come on ! No one would have imagined they'd celebrate the division of the country, even north korea doesn't celebrate the division as far as I know.
It's intresting man, the officer in this video said also 25 Years since construction of the Berlin Wall. Back in 2014, they celebrated 25 years since the fall of Berlin Wall. And then i saw that in 1986 East Germany celebrated 25 anniversary of the Berlin Wall. And finally this year I found the anthem it's pretty odd to compare 2014 with 1986
If you don't want the East German lyrics you can use the Österreich-Ungarn Gott Erhalte Gott Beschütze Unsern Kaiser Unsern Land 1854-1918 Gott Erhalte Franz den Kaiser 1797-1854 onto the Auferstanden aus Ruinen instrumental. The reverse actually works to using the East German National Anthem lyrics onto the Austria-Hungary Gott Erhalte Gott Beschütze Unsern Kaiser Unsern Land 1854-1918 and Gott Erhalte Franz den Kaiser 1797-1854.
Both West and East Germany kept some aspects of Prussian marching and drilling. But they combined it with American and Soviet influences, respectively.
But dont forget that the GDR was one of the first nations to allow homosexuallity but im not sure to what extent. Atleast not in public. Very sad times we live in.
