my oldest brother was like this guy. My brother was a talented musician. He wrote songs, and put out a couple of albums. If you know the entertainment industry you know few really make it. For regular jobs my brother bounced around from all kinds of jobs. Now he is 60 years old and failed to even earn enough points for Social Security in all of his years of working. Most of the time he played in a band in a bar somewhere maybe making beer money and $50 to $100 on weekends.

I have adhd and can understand the concept of wanting to try a bunch of different jobs/careers instead of picking one and sticking to it. But at then end of the day sometimes you need to do things you don’t want to do. If that means sticking with a boring 9-5 that you hate while you work on building a business or breaking into another industry on the side, then that’s what you need to do.

It’s great. It’s like by the end of the interview, he basically turned the tables on Caleb. Caleb basically implied he’s not gonna have a livliehood, he just undercuts it and says he doesn’t even want to get old, have kids, and doesn’t care about literally anything. So there’s no way to get through to him, because nothing matters to him. That’s the kind of dude that will somehow land on his feet though.

If I was a manager and saw his work history I would not even bother interviewing him. I would just file his application in the trash or not hireable file if I was required to actually keep applications for company policy. What he should really do is to hire on with a temp company so he could do lots of different jobs each week

I think it was. He referred to the channel a little too often for me to believe he was doing it for real. It was (to me anyway) to be ON the channel - and possibly/probably impersonating someone/even the typical person on the channel - right down to "not having a job as of yesterday or going to a new job next week" type of thing.

I’m almost 21 and I am not going to ever save for retirement. I’m just going to focus on getting my income higher. If I end up having kids only then would I start saving money. Retirement is stupid to me; why not just work until you die. I hate not being at work. I’m doing 20-25 hrs/week now that school has started and full time college senior. Was doing 35-40/hrs week over summer and loved it.

The shitty thing is that you have to anticipate that you may not be able to physically work until you die. Especially if you make it to life expectancy, retirement isn't supposed to be a vacation, just an understanding that aging is hard

I would not fault him for trying to be an actor; I would think most actors initially had few roles. I think the for most successful people, no matter who they are or what they are doing, 'work ethic' is the deciding factor; and being passionate about what you are trying to do makes the work ethic easier to maintain.

Follow your dreams and interests, but also be realistic. We've now had several Hammer guests saying they're landing acting jobs, but when Caleb presses the issue it's always that the guest auditioned and is waiting for a call. That is not a plan for a good financial future. It's pure wishful thinking.

The worst think about quitting the jobs is not having a legit resume unless he decides to lie on his resume which apparently a lot of people do. But from my experience, if you lack experience it will show. But he’s definitely privileged. Hopefully his privilege takes him far enough.

That’s the life of most aspiring actor and model. They have lot of odd jobs while trying to make it big in their acting or modeling career. Being extra does pay depending on how big the project is. And how much you get paid depends on whether you are union or non-union

The time to screw around with employers is when you're young. What you do for a living is driven by just doing what you can make the most money doing. He may want to look into the Army Corps or something where he can travel the world and just do random stuff to help people.

I drove my first car in my dad's name and later went to get a truck in mine after I paid off my first one and drove off the lot with the truck I wanted,its mostly about a good credit score and a loan portfolio helps as well...lenders like to see various forms of loans in your name to be less of a risk and yes you might have to put money down but not HALF of the car loan Your exactly right I screwed my credit as a young man now I own a detailing company and can't get anything with out the full amount of cash.I'm working on my credit to get better with *vri token* on the internet ,Love the knowledge keep it up

The trick to not living over 65 as a man is to have a bad diet and eat out often, you're guaranteed to die of a heart attack or stroke before 65 with that meal plan.
