pretty much how I train, 2 compound and 1-2 isolation work sets per workout, train each muscle twice a week I do a lot of rest pause work though so my 'volume' isn't actually that low

very interesting.... so here's my question... is the volume and workout he is describing here something he would do if he was focused on hypertrophy? And competing in bodybuilding? Is he finding that he is maintaining his muscle mass? Thanks!

Great question, he mentioned he feels he is making progress with his current approach. If you are interested in knowing what his training was like when prepping for the Yorton Cup look back on some of our other videos with Tom from the previous interview (Part 1), if you haven't already. Thanks Nick!

I actually reached out to him, however he mentioned that he has other priorities and was not interested. Perhaps in the future. Thanks for your recommendation! - Kenny

Most pro bodybuilders do exactly the same they just don’t count wake ups as work sets. Most top pros now do 3-5 failure sets a body part.

Some people succeed despite their methods, usually out of superior genetics.
