I am from Maine and I’ve never heard of this although I can see how some parts of New England would make this. And of course the original version of shepherds, pie or cottage pie. I’m not sure which from England used Liam. If you ever get a chance to have a leg of goat or a goat roast. It is amazing. I had that when I visited a friend in New York, who raised goats, and he made a leg of goat roast, and there was no gaminess to it at all. Absolutely delicious.
If you heat up the honey just a little, it will pour out quickly and easily. These all looked great but the lamb and potatoes looked so comforting. also Loving your commentary so much more and am impressed you've been actually using BIGGER bowls! 😂😂😂
Such great casseroles. Gonna have to make all of them for us, but cut the recipes in half since there's only 2 of us. Love that option on printing these recipes. Thanks ever so much for posting those links to these also.
Maybe some broccoli florets with the lamb bake????? I have that baggie holder!! I LOVE it!!! I do my freezer meals and use them. Makes my job so much easier.
Great video and presentation! These recipes look awesome. You made a great point for many aspiring cooks that they should always keep in mind. When you omit or sub ingredients in a recipe you many times will compromise the excellence of a dish. Now it may work fine and not be ruined but it may not reach the heights you could attain. Not that there is anything wrong with it. At times there is a multitude of reasons to do so. But, for example I do not care for Celery. However it can completely round out the depth of flavor on many dishes, so ive learned to adjust this by chopping it smaller, etc. Love your work. Thank you so much. God bless all here.
Yes! Sometimes the substitution works really well and other times it doesn't. Lots of playing around with ingredients here and trying to find things we love.
These recipes look so good. I'm so trying the Honey lime enchiladas. I'd like to pass on that Gebheardts chili powder is the best. Try it, I think you will agree. They have been around since the late 1800s. Wonderful flavor. ❤ Yes on the casserole 🥘 dishes.
Great meals yet again Amber. we make something similar with the lamb mince, lamb is very popular here in the UK, even although its expensive. Really fancy that tamale pie. Thank you so much for sharing xxx
I will definitely make this lamb recipe for my grandchildren at Easter because the little one don’t always like the leg of lamb roast. Thank you Amber Have a blessed Sunday night 💙🕊🙏✝️🙏🕊💙
I slowly started using onion in my recipes. I'm 43yo and only for the past maybe two years. I think it started with using green onion since it's very mild. Only reason I even tried was when I was using hello fresh. I still don't really buy them because I only use a little bit so I buy the frozen ones and selectively use them
Looking for the link to the potato crusted quiche! I must be gluten free, and while gluten free pie crusts exist, they’re pricy and IMHO, not that good … so a potato crust sounds PERFECT to me! Thank you for your videos and recipes-I found your channel about six months ago, and have used several of your recipes with good results!
I am trying to find the right video for you, but this one does have a quiche in it with potatoes. Try this one. If I can't find it, I will make it again soon! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6MfNADmblfc.html
Why don’t you measure out the Tbls or tsp with water, into a glass measuring cup, see what the actual cup measurement’s are and note that on your recipes. It would really make your life AND channel viewers life a lot easier 💕🙏🙏
If you ever noticed, almost all the RU-vid cooks don’t use the correct measuring cup for liquid measuring. It really makes a difference when baking, because you really need those measurements correct.
That's why I always leave links to the recipes in the description box. That way if you are making it for 2 people or 200, there will be conversions! I love that we can all enjoy these recipes regardless of our family sizes.
Lol, I was just having that thought on the measuring of liquid for recipes. Especially for baking. There is a difference between dry measurements and the liquid measuring cups. 😊😊😊 We love your videos Amber. Thank you so much.
@@FeedingtheByrds thank you. I have a grater but I guess I never thought it would last long enough so I shred as I go. Boy will this be a time save for me 😃
I have also seen shepherds pie with corn in it here in new england i usually have used cream corn when i have made it myself also usually it is with mashed potatoes on top
