With a Duncan Hines Perfectly Moist Classic White Cake Mix, I made the pistachio bundt cake for my grand-daughter's high school graduation party. Her school colors were green and gold, but the closest I could get to gold was the Duncan Hines Creamy Lemon Supreme frosting (so delicious you can eat it as is!) I used coconut oil (partially solidified) for the oil. I could not get the spray and flour technique you showed to work in the pan so it came apart in spots, so I had to glue the few broken crown pieces together with frosting. Applied the frosting lifting up the spatula while spreading for a ripple effect then pressed whole shelled pistachios all around the top. Everyone loved it. I've since bought the same ingredients and added a can of Pam for baking with flour. Next time I would heat the frosting in the microwave and pour it over the cake.
My husband hates onions, chives, scallions...all the most wonderful things in the world. So, I blend it and he has no idea. Come to find out he likes the flavor, just not the texture.....He has no idea I add it to everything.
I don't each some of these cheese flavors but I still watched the video! thanks for sharing...love the blunders from you and Mandy...you are real people...🙌
I have celiac disease and wondering if using gluten free flour to make your mix would work? 🤔 because the gluten free mixes are upwards to 10 bucks depending. Think I will give this a try in some of you recipes 😊
My kids and grandkids just dont care for basil. We eat it sparingly where its flavor mixes well. I wonder if some baby spinach would work well for this as well?
Gooey Butter Cake was a staple for events for my mom. I have actually never made it but remember it so well. Monster cookies was always a family favorite. For years my mom had lost the recipe and I was heartbroken because there were times I totally craved those cookies. Until I ran across a Food Network southern cook who made them and I thought the world had opened back up to me! Peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips and M&Ms made for HEAVEN!
These dips look delicious! I love watching your channel because I can always count on you making something Greek which is my favorite! I watch Mandy in the Making & Jessica O’Donahue. Love watching you three! Y’all should do a collaboration every season! Feta and watermelon are good together but you have to make it into a summer salad. Try arugula, feta & watermelon. It’s my favorite summer salad! Funny story about arugula, I did pick up at Walmart once. Opened my box of arugula to make a salad. Didn’t have my glasses on but thought I saw something. Grabbed my glasses and there was a grasshopper looking back at me. Yep, his eyes were wide open even though he was dead! Poor guy gave his life for a salad! Can you imagine if I did not see him? I would have to call my favorite summer salad arugula, watermelon, feta & grasshopper salad! 😆
Love these dips!! I am absolutely trying the caprese one on the 4th, that looks delicious! I actually made the goat cheese prosciutto and fig one at Christmas last year as a hot dip and it was a HUGE success! Everyone loved it. I agree that’s it’s amazing both hot and cold. It’s literally like a charcuterie board in a dip form! We live in SW FL and are trying to survive the insane humidity here by staying indoors mostly, which stinks, or going to the pool. We are heading up to Charlotte/ Ft Mill next week and are so excited! We want to move there hopefully next summer and are touring the area again. Then headed to Brevard after! Have a great summer and thanks for your awesome videos!
I am a lover of any dip or easy appetizers!!! Its been so hot here in Georgia so anything that can be done quickly to get some food without turning on the oven, I am here for!! I have never had caprese (not sure if that's how its spelled) but I've been seeing it A LOT lately, so I think I will try it!! I don't have plans for the 4th; I've stayed home with the scared animals for years and just chilled and watch loud TV lol
@@FeedingtheByrds open the dishwasher door set the dish on top of the door an spray, once you get all dishes in dishwasher the door gets washed... sorry I didn't explain good... no more cleaning greasy counter tops 😉
I love Bamboo cutting boards. They are easy to maintain. I have no problem with them absorbing meat juices or any for that matter. I use olive oil to clean and sanitize mine.
It has been really hot here in Tennessee. I am going to Clearwater the end of July and staying for the next 3 or 4 months. I have a new grandson and I will be watching him while my daughter finishes massage therapy school. I am definitely going to make all of these there!
Thank you so much for these recipes! I’m going to try them all! This summer I’m working extra making jewelry to sell at local markets. Every October my Carolina Dog and I head to Camp Fellowship for Carolinas in the Pines! So much fun and we get to catch up with friends from all over the country! Happy Fourth of July to you and your family! Your kitty is very cute!
The weekend after the 4th I’m getting together with my sisters. There are 4 of us and we live an hour apart in different directions and one sister is about 2 hours away. I am kind of centrally located so they are coming to my house. One of these dips would be perfect for our get together.
Oh yay! These look great! Our big plans for the summer are happening right now. Our 19 year old son is home from the Army for 2 weeks so we are spending time with him. ❤ Feta and watermelon with fresh mint is amazing. I think a balsamic glaze would be amazing on top, too. Mandy and Steven are great!
Fabulous recipes this week Amber. I always have fig jam in my house, I love it so much, so guess which one I'll be making first lol. All the ingredients for these dips are pretty much what I keep in the fridge during the summer. I like to make a medley of different salads and eat them over a few days. I stock up on cold hams, lots of different cheeses etc. I even make scotch eggs to serve with mine as well as the usual coleslaw, potato salad etc. Thank you so much for sharing xxx
Hi... I love your channel!!! You're recipes are so yummy but I have no choice but to double them. I need advice on how to perfectly double a recipe without making it too salty... Thanks
