Didn’t see any ghosts on Route 66 but highly recommend that you all take the trip. Took my mom and me three and a half weeks to go out and back and was worth every minute. Plan ahead, do research, and watch videos about it to figure where it still exists and where it’s been replaced by other routes. In parts of Texas it’s a dirt road. Best trip we ever took!
@@Mojavekight17 if I could ever figure out posting links (I’m old and not too tech savvy,) I would show you all my pictures from that trip as a supporting argument. It was October of 2018 and my 94 year old mom and I created so many great memories together. Two years after that I lost her to a stroke but at least I still have the memories of that road trip. Edited to add that we both saw our first Joshua trees on that trip. Very cool.
@@kimhohlmayer7018 Sounds like an amazing trip. Memories you will never forget and memories your mom took with her.... I also went on parts of Hiway 66 with my mom and 2 other family members. We live in North Carolina. We flew to Vegas in 1995 and rented a car. We drove through Flagstaff. It was the first week of June and mom was so excited about seeing the highest peek of a mountain with snow still on it. We named it Mama's mountain!! We drove on to Hollywood and we were on The Price is Right 👍 I also lost my precious mom in December of 21. Covid took her and while still grieving I was blessed to have 57 years with her. Okay, the first story is EXACTLY what happened to me but between Comanche and Brownwood Texas about 3:30 am. I was working as a training supervisor for Frito Lay and drove that road literally hundreds of times until THAT morning. He was dressed in jeans, a red and black flannel shirt and work boots. It was at a bend in the road and he was standing in the inside of the right lane. I actually thought that I had hit him. My wife was behind me and saw it all. I was so shook that I called the brown county sheriff's dept. They came out and looked, but the deputy said, we won't find anything, this has happened before. Every time I drove by the spot I had to turn the inside light on in the route truck because it felt like someone was standing behind me. I will NEVER forget that night

Your monotone voice is so calming and relaxing while camping. Especially listening to you when the coyotes start howling. PERFECT.
Actually, his dictation has gotten, LESS monotone, and MORE succinct, and expressive; which I HIGHLY PREFER, when compared to “older uploads”!! I would be interested to see a “ley line” map, overlaying the highway maps. Then, a comparison of the strange stories and incidents, to locations that lie on or along, a “ley line”!! 🤔 In fact, I think I’ll do just that!! It’ll be a fun hobby to pursue!!!! ❤️❤️

I'm in North Carolina. A good friend of mine moved to Prescott, Arizona. The view she has of the mountains are breathtaking! She is not very far from Flagstaff as well ❤
@@RindaJaneI'm from north Carolina but moved to Virginia a few years ago. The views in Arizona are pretty amazing but I think the NC mountains have it best. Especially the parkway and Cherokee
Being born in Gallup NM I saw a lot of crazy stuff on 666. I remember growing up sometime in the 80s, 3 rollovers between Shiprock and Gallup just driving through. Before cell phones, before helicopter ambulance, and nothing to call authorities between towns. It was a custom that the women would ride in the bed of the truck between towns. Often times with stuff stacked above the cab and the ladies on top. I hope that has phased out been a bit since I have been down that way. Before I had kids I used to drive every 90 to 100 everywhere I had a truck come out of nowhere and blast past me at 3 am. In just as fast, it was gone.
I'm from Schuylkill County, PA. Everybody goes to Centralia (Silent Hill), but the real haunted place is a cemetery by Tamaqua/Hometown called Skyview. There is also "Peddler's Grave" in between Mahonoy City and Brandonville. Nothing happens there either. Skyview is worse than Gettysburg in my opinion.
I used to go up there a lot. I have to check that out when I go back to PA. I think a policeman was killed by the Molly McGuires at that park in Tamaqua too! I love anthracite country!

I totally know what it's like when you say "Just one more level/stage/mission/game/just till the next save point/I need one more item/armour piece/weapon and I'll go to bed" then the next thing you know, it's 4 in the morning and you're super pissed at yourself because you now realise that if you go to sleep now, you'll probably sleep right through instead of getting up for work so you might as well play until you need to start getting ready. This is one of my favourite channels and would love to see content more frequently although I totally understand why it wouldn't be possible under your current workload since it must be a lot of hard work running two channels. Loved this theme/topic. Would love more of these scary roads. Here where im at theres a road through elfin forest in san diego county that has had some accounts of the ghost of a sleepwalking girl ppl even the police have even hit. Another is proctor valley which is chock full of accounts from not just ghosts but a minotaur cryptid sighting or even alien sightings too. also cool to learn more about route 66. Beautiful place. I'm in North Carolina. We went to Vegas in 95.. got a rental and drove through Flagstaff. Actually my husband just reminded me. We ate lunch there 😁 My mom and step dad were with us. Trip of a lifetime. Mom and my step dad have both passed on now. I'm so thankful for those memories with her.. Stay safe ❤

Stopping their car pulling into the side of the road her body is dumped there she is trying to direct someone to find her she's going to be unrested she's never going to be at peace until someone finds her remain. They need to try and narrow down between the areas where her spirit is seen and where this occurs her remains are somewhere someone needs to find it
I wouldn’t call it a true highway but long stretch of two way road called 43 or locally as Santa Fe Way, from Bakersfield to Shafter or vice versa (California) as seen a lot of fatal accidents and suicides. It runs parallel to train tracks so lot of vehicle vs train incidents. It also passes by the local cemetery. I haven’t seen anything personally despite had lived there in Shafter during my teenage years but some people have reported seeing little girl walking on side of the road, also seen in parking lot of a building maybe mile or so from the cemetery. I was working patrol (security) and had to cover a shift after one of the guards got spooked and quit on the spot. Later on it was said he had seen a little girl standing by corner of the building (largely being remodeled at the time) and disappeared behind it. He was in golf cart so took him roughly 6 seconds to get there but she was completely gone. There was loading dock doors that were shut and locked so she’d have no time to hide there without being seen, and she would have ran probably 100 yards and over a large fence in that six seconds. This of course is all what I was told so can’t verify anything.
It just seems that he's unrested that he keeps getting into these cars or he's still hitchhiking off the road and being seen. Definitely a restless spirit that obviously doesn't realize he's dead or he's repeating his last minutes before he was hit by a car
Something tells me that this man was hit by a car if I'm correct wasn't that image of him he was missing half his arm? which I would think maybe the arm he used to put his thumb out. Yeah I definitely think this man was hit by a car and killed his body may have been knocked off somewhere his remains may have never even have been found especially if they were knocked off the road into a wooded area
See right there him waving and disappearing into the forest he's trying to let somebody know he's there his body is there somewhere I bet just like I said he was hitting his body was throwing up into a wooded area close to the road nobody ever found him. So he's going to repeat his last moments over and over again. And unfortunately that repeat will never end for him until someone finds his remains
You want to hear something funny so route 66 when you look at it as you say it almost covers the whole United States all but almost maybe about a third of the United States so how much you want to take a guess that route 66 is 66% of the United States it goes across

He Was Doin 85 & started Drifting off into the left lane !!! I Was In the back seat holding Liz In My Arms , as She Was Having Seizure's Related to Hypoglycemia.... Then I Look Up & See Mike Crossing The Centerline & So I Yell At Him !!! He Snaps Outta It , Over Reacts & Damn Nearly Drives Us Into The Woods , Hits A Berm & Pulls Outta It !!!
