Show Notes:
Multiple pathways exist that make skin inflammation and dermatitis worse. These are 3 to look out for:
Biochemical Pathways of Inflammation (There are more than just three)
1) Histamine Pathway
a. Histamine is produced in the gut mostly ('bad' microbes)
b. HistaDINE is the precursor molecule
c. Dietary sugar stimulates 'bad' microbes (Yeast, Candida, Bacteria)
2) Arachidonic Acid Pathway
a. From animal-derived cholesterol
3) TNF-a, IL-6 (Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha and Interleukin-6)
a. Produces a dysfunctional immune response
b. Vitamin D deficiency causes elevations in TNF-a/IL-6
c. Phytonutrients help block TNF-a/IL-6

Filaggrin protein mutation and other genetic factors of atopy are not fixable by diet though. But I like your antiinflammatory and nutrition approach. Better than taking toxic medications that create more health problems.

Hello Dr. Dasari, love your videos. Found them truth bringing and so helpful. I am interested in getting the free training on dealing with eczema but the website keeps telling me to input a valid phone number. I am located in Canada, wondering if this free resource is for people in US only.

Humans never added salt because the soil had plenty of electrolytes as did mineral waters from springs and lakes

My leaky gut has a caused a whole heap of food intolerances and salicylate sensitivity, so I have to avoid most fruit, veg herbs/spices & nuts. The offset of the leaky gut was caused by the copper coil, which I eventually had removed months ago, but still im experiencing the inflammation

consult dermatologist.Doctor will help you treat the flare up. Then its ur responsibility to prevent flare up by avoiding triggers and changing life style like avoiding chlorinated water and shops ,using moisturizing gentle shower gel instead of shops,using moisturizing cream,eating home made food only,drinking plenty of water,wearing clean cotton clothes,washing bed sheats frequently,etc

What’s your opinion on ketogenic or carnivore diet
@MindGutImmunity
@MindGutImmunity Год назад
I've commented a dozen times on this topic. Low glycemic index foods prevent inflammation. Keto and Carnivore are low glycemic. But they are also low in phytonutrients which can be problematic. Phytonutrient deficiency also promotes inflammation and histamine pathways

I drink a teaspoon of dmso everyday and take vitamin D supplements to reduce inflammation and it works because am always n a better mood after. I also make a cream with lanolin, vitamin E and castor oil and use it as lotion. My dog loves that cream he licks my hands and skin when I put it on, and I notice he’s very calm and relax after.

what about using a Anti Inflammatory diet to heal the eczema instead of taking supplements to reduce inflammation
