Hello lovely ladies,

Dresse sense makes a huge difference! When I am wearing pink or any delicate colours I have noticed my male clients treat me with a lot of respect and literally turn into gentlemen. Not only the men that I work with but even in public life, you will have someone opening the door for you in the grocery store, the driver will give you way, it's amazing that just a feminine dress sense can transform your interactions!

I never knew there was a FW RU-vid until a few days ago, and I have been continually listening while I go about my day. I'm 20, newlywed, living out a (what the world would call radical) scriptural life and I am so thankful to have discovered this, literally tonight about 20 minutes ago. As a woman and a kid, I love being active, playing sports (soccer & football), and working out. When I play I try to make my uniform look feminine and speak and act feminine. My cleats are bright colored, nails done lol. I had to be more gentle and gracious towards others. I wasn't taught that growing up.

I read the very first book some years ago and came across my notes from it and decided to find the audio version of it here but I found you ladies instead❤. I have loved bingeing on your videos. I was a tomboy growing up and would wrestle with my younger brother almost every day. I’ve been restraining myself this past week and last night he said,”what’s wrong with you?You’re quieter”,I was like,”Thank you for noticing, I’m building my character” and he laughed. I’m nowhere near where I want to be but I’m working on it. These videos are amazing, thank you.

I started changing by turning my jeans into skirts. It was crazy how that created a sort of landslide over time for me. I ended up growing my hair out, I stopped wearing tshirts, and now I have replaced my altered jeans skirt with flowy peasant skirts that I made. I’m also wearing shawls, which I always wanted to do! It really makes a difference over time when you start small.
@melissajenkins9960
@melissajenkins9960 Год назад
I need to add that I did these things because when I looked more like a guy… short hair, tshirts, jeans, etc I acted more aggressive. It actually made me miserable. Something that helped the transition feel natural was going for things I already enjoyed or wished for that I was neglecting. Like the jeans skirt. I also started looking at pretty hairstyles for long hair.. simple ones I knew I would enjoy. I started doing little things to care for myself, like painting my nails or doing a nighttime routine for my skin. It helped me love my feminine nature more, and it naturally brought out a more feminine disposition. I still have to watch out for how I talk, sit, and laugh though. I was raised masculine so it’s a constant practice being aware of how I act. I feel better when I’m cherishing what I was born to be.

The intro is 100% truth. I have experienced this multiple times over several years. Men are so unused to femininity that they can't handle it and many of them will melt and then do very outrageous things. Idk what to do about that. Do you have any ideas, Dixie?

@@DixieandBob Things I have seen men do out of insecurity, not feeling like they deserve love, not feeling enough trust about my sincerity or doubts/fears about what could go wrong is pretty sad actually. Usually, the guy gets super insecure and breaks off the relationship, or they try to make me jealous or start arguments that destroy the relationship. A few guys have used cheating to preempt my leaving or cheating on them. They do exactly whatever they are afraid I would do to them basically. If they are anxious about being cheated on they will cheat. If they are anxious about being used or manipulated they will try to use and manipulate me first.

Oh my gosh I never thought men tease me because they feel vulnerable due to my femininity. I've always been teased by men and wasn't sure entirely why. I'd always wonder, is it because he likes me? Doesn't like me? Being younger than these men? What is it? It never dawned on me it could have anything to due with femininity.

Out of curiosity, what is pizza clothing? Never heard of it before. I love all the advice given here, the first and last bit was taught to me by my Middle Eastern mother, the most gracious woman that I know. I’m only 28, but I’ve been bullied and picked on throughout my life for being kind and empathetic; people mistake those qualities for weakness and unfortunately, women and girls have always been the perpetrators and it’s led me to resent women and distance myself from them. In recent years, I have been surrounded by amazing women and am working to feel better about my qualities and accepting that there is nothing wrong the qualities that I have.

Hello, I believe it should be balanced. Because it might go too much on the passive side. Maybe find ways to be playful, a little daring, doing sports or exercise or taking up responsibility in some function. Maybe study something and get around people. We all need to develop people skills and see where our boundaries are. Plus it is a bit dangerous if you don't have women to converse with. You might not have enough counsel when you need it. So if you didn't have a father to guide you as well, then that portion might need to be developed. Maybe disciple or structure or similar things might need to be added. Sometimes we need to be stretched a little.

You have to find something you're comfortable with. I love the holiday movie "Elf" where the lead character says, "Son of a NUTCRACKER!" instead of swearing...it's all about what works for you.

Hi, Dixie, (or anyone.) I would like to learn more about how to be authoritative in a feminine manner. I often struggle professionally because I’m physically tiny, my voice and mannerisms are youthful, and I am very shy. When I try to take on a bigger persona it’s silly and unappealing. In a business suit I still look like Tinker Bell. How do I utilize my authentic demeanor and physicality in a way that commands more respect?
@DixieandBob
@DixieandBob 3 года назад
Hi! It's interesting to hear you say that you think your size affects the respect you receive because there are MANY, many petite people in history that have been incredibly influential; I am describing both men and women. Marie Kondo for example is only 4'7! She not only is very respected, she is a brilliant business woman. I definitely do not know her personally but what I see on her tv series is a very feminine woman who is polite and has very high self esteem. This is the key, self esteem. My book goes into detail about this subject. I highly recommend reading it to learn more about womens self esteem.

@@TheDreamer433 Usually - go older. Not being a female buddy right from the start of meeting someone. Since that would mean for the future - they'd have a roommate which happens to be female, giving them sex on top of other things. Taking off rose colored glasses. Grooming yourself should be an obvious one. Dating - as not giving too much time of the day and not getting too comfortable, if you see that the man doesn't represent certain qualities and acts upon them. Not listening to the talking - but going by what they do. Excuse yourself early and don't gather bad experiences. Usually those older cultures, where the marriages are successful have a different way of choosing a spouse. You can learn from them. They go about it very differtly than being buddy buddy with a man. It is known, that if a man wants a woman plus children in his life - he has to act a certain way. Greets
@TheShamuraja
@TheShamuraja Год назад
@@TheDreamer433 Also, have something going for yourself. Maybe part time. A lot of men are feminist these days. And were brought up in the modern world. Logically you can ask them later on how they imagine - who would raise the children? Would they want their spouse coming home from work stressed and not having the time to be loving or fixing up a dinner? No time or physical strength to have sex, since when a woman is too stressed, she will not get in the mood. Male sexuality works just opposite from that. They relax that way. But don't understand, that you have to take away stress from a woman and make her feel secure, so that she gives it freely. Look for a man that can afford a stay at home wife and understands what all gain from it. Also, a few things you might learn from the channel of Shera seven. To unlearn the feminist ways and get the mind right on a few certain things. Plus how to choose the right potential spouse.

I wound up quashing girlness because my mom was constantly critical of my failures therein, and on the other side I was getting bullied by the girls at school so I was also declaring my eternal separation from them. Part of me also stupidly thought that, since I wanted to marry someone who was just like me except a boy, (I was a little girl with undiagnosed Asperger’s,) then being just like the boys obviously made more sense, because Kid Brain.
