During a historic racing weekend I recorded 3 legendary Porsche 935 Turbo K3s. The car is moved by a twin turbo flat-six engine which was able to produce 750 bhp at 8200 rpm and 750 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. Watch them in action on track and listen to those turbos whistling during the warm up.

A 935K3 raced at night might be the most beautiful Porsche. The howl of the flat 6 and the flames on overrun are almost religious.

The #5 Coca Cola car was driven by Bob Akin in the IMSA Camel GT series, I saw it at Lime Rock, he switched to a Coca Cola #5 962 in '84, which I also saw at Lime Rock in 84 and 85. Al Holbert was driving the Lowenbrau 962

The 935 is undoubtedly the best car Porsche has ever built. Oh wait there's also the 996 GT1 Evolution. Oh and the 956 and 962. Yeah Porsche's awesome.

Look it up sometime if you're in the mood. The MIGHTY PORSCHE 917k in Gulf livery, thank you very much. Die Welt Meister ~ The World Champion. I do very much like and appreciate the 935. Cheers

Flame thrower while off the throttle. That track is a pain in the ass. Unless you know how to properly race it that is. I can never get that 2nd corner right. That's just the virtual world.

***** The 935 K3 was the most successful 935 variant of the Porsche 935 , due to its technical advantage running an air/air intercooler instead of the air/water units used by the Porsche factory. Winner of Le Mans 24 Hours in 1979. And it was built by Kremer in Cologne Germany

@@19Bozzy92 Looks like it picked up the ground-effect sideskirts (side-pods? they're big enough!) and massive wing between July/August 1981. I'm gonna assume thats some development by the race team themselves rather than Kremer coming along to mess with it mid-season lol.
