30 minute Breathing Meditation - 15 mins guided, 15 mins stillness - Deep Calm

This is a soothing guided breathing meditation with natural forest sounds and gentle water to help you find stillness, peace of mind and deeply relax. The meditation starts with 15 minutes guided breathing and relaxation, then the rest of the meditation is unguided to help you easily settle into a state of deep calm and undisturbed, restful stillness.
Posture: you can do this meditation sitting or lying down...
Sitting on the floor:
Sit with your legs crossed either with your back unsupported or supported against a wall with a cushion in the small of your back. Sit on a meditation cushion (or a couple of pillows) so that your knees are lower than your hips (this helps keep your back upright and hips at the right angle). Rest your hands wherever they feel most comfortable on your knees, thighs or in your lap.
Sitting on a chair:
Sit with your legs at least shoulder width apart with the soles of your feet flat against the floor (or with your legs crossed meditation style if the seat is big enough and you're comfortable). Sit with your back unsupported or supported by the back of the chair with a cushion in the small of your back. Rest your hands wherever they feel most comfortable on your knees, thighs or in your lap.
Lying down:
Lie on your back. If you have any trouble with your lower back try placing a pillow beneath your knees, or lie with your knees bent towards the ceiling and the soles of your feet flat on the surface you're lying on. Rest your hands palm up or down by your sides, or resting lightly on your lower stomach.
Is it better to sit or lie down? - This depends on how you're best able to find a balance between being comfortable and alert. Meditation is a state of both relaxation and focussed attention, so find a position that you will be as comfortable as possible in as well as being able to focus on your breathing without falling asleep (unless you want to of course!).
This meditation can be done any time of day, morning or evening, whenever you'd like some time to rest, unwind and meditate.

This is probably one of the best guided mediation that I've experienced. If you have good quality headphones 🎧 (,ones that go over your ears), you literally feel like your in nature and she guides you through perfectly . I'm so glad I found mediation, seriously life changing

I did this meditation for the first time today. I have been using your meditations for the past few days. I am studying under a zen buddhist teacher, who recommends that I do a 30 minute meditation at the same time every day. I just finished this one. I loved the nature sounds in it. As I practice my meditation, I am finding myself becoming more mindful of things that I wasn’t even trying to be mindful of, like the short little less-than-a-second breaks in the background nature sounds.

I was utterly stressed today, in fact for the last 6 days. I’ve heard dozens of meditations, including yours but what I never heard before is to breathe into the space between your spine and the back of your skull. What a revelation! Right on the first breath into that space I felt the tension in my head and upper body go away! This will be repeated listening for me. Thank you so much!

hadda stop only a little after 28 min mark because this got me sleepy and seeing things, having conscious dreams, etc. i’ve never sat this long for meditation. usually it’s 15 min, but i wanted to challenge myself to stay more consistent with it, and this was flat out great!!

Thanks Caroline. I have been struggling with panic attacks the past few days and really in a dark place. When I work up this morning, I listened to this video and it really calmed me down. Just started meditating daily almost a month ago, most of the times I do 5 to 15 minutes, this was my first time doing 30 minutes, I felt great afterwards, I will definitely do this meditation at least two to three times a week 👍🏾❗❕❗❕❗

Chronic mouth & tongue pain since Jan'22 at nearly 50, after multiple life changes including relocation. Finally found a resource that helps me switch off the tension and pain, at least temporarily for now. Thank you for providing these - this is my first video ❤️🙏

I’m so glad it was helpful. There’s interesting research that shows meditation, with time can change the way your brain interprets pain and with daily practice can reduce your experience of pain as much as morphine, so I really hope you can find long term improvement too. Wishing you all the best 💛

I've been struggling with depression for nearly 3 years now. Recently it got worse with panic attacks, feeling completely unsafe in the world and seeing things move in the corner of my eyes. I am pretty adept in meditations, or rather I was, and normally always do meditations for envisioning, manifesting, letting go, accepting etc. I tried one of these before I came to this video just now. But it was just too much. Your video was so simple, yet so powerful, and for the first time in some weeks I felt true relief just by focussing on relaxing and calming down. That's what I need for now, before I can go change the world. Thank you so much.

I regularly listen to a couple of channels who I love and I never imagined I'd find one that pipped the other amazing meditations to the post. Your earth journey does this for me. It's simply like oxygen, takes me way back through physical sensations I have felt, sun on my skin, sea water as my view, it makes me profoundly aware. It transports me to a very happy & peaceful time in my life. After years of meditation, this for me is outstanding. Keep well and keep safe.

Thank you for this video!! I really appreciate your work and as a patient with anxiety disorder, I find it is really working for me! I enjoyed this half guided meditation, it allows me to follow the steps at the beginning and then explores on my own. The first half really helped me to get relaxed, both body and mind, so that it gets easier in the second half. Thank you! 🙏
