very relaxing on the wall. I got a little cramp on the right hamstring in dragon tail but I did this pose earlier in yoga today called lizzard. Thx 😇💜😘

Love using my cork yoga blocks. And they can serve other purposes in a pinch - a little extra height where needed. Just not a permanent fix - I need them on the ready for my next yoga practice. Another great sequence, Devi.

Wow. I’ve missed quite a few days over the last two weeks and my right knee tightness and discomfort is s quite noticeable again. Though not as intense as before. Coming to the mat each day to a so important 🙏💜

Really nice. Always up for any practice which focuses on the front body. The hamstring trios were nice switch. Interesting how deeply I can fold in 1/2 Frog, not so much in 1/2 Butterfly and midway with 1/2 Shoelace. :) Just wish the holds had been much longer.

I don't own as many blocks as you do😉But as i consider yin as a treat (even treat-ment), I try to use my bolster as often as possible😎 My body can't handle half split (too hard for the back knee, even with yoga jellies - though dragon's tail is absolutely not uncomfortable !), so I do full split instead. This doesn't strain my hamstrings nor feel "too hard" for my body, so can I keep this alternative ? I'm so happy you provide some variations (for example : bending my knees in half frog - or triang mukha- is wayyyyyy too painful, so I kept the 1st version instead😉) Thank you Devi for all those quality classes 🙏🙏

Full split is a fine alternative to half split, as long as its a comfortable range of motion for your hips. Glad to hear how much you’re enjoying exploring the variations 😊

I feel wonderful. 🙏 today was so much better because I practiced on the anti fatigue mats so my knees weren’t killing me during dragon pose. And I really modified the twist to not put pressure in my knees too. I love how you encourage us to really listen to our bodies. Also. When I went for my morning walk this morning I was moving differently. More flowing and open in only four days. Now five. 💜

Thank you, that was beautiful and so grounding. Exactly what I was needing. The simple cues and guidances like noticing how the muscles of the leg intricately connect with the back really help me have a much more somatic experience of the pose / the inner workings. 🙏🏼

Thank you. Do you have any tips for not getting a cramping feeling in the top of you foot eg when face down on the mat or in child’s pose or in the foot of the extended leg in dragon pose? This always makes me wriggle a lot and flex my foot instead of extending it.

Hi Ruth, One idea is to use a rolled towel or thin blanket under your ankles in those postures so that the foot isn't forced into a straight position. The other idea is to spread out a soft blanket or two on top of your yoga mat so that your practice surface is more forgiving. Let me know if you have luck with either of these...

Either way is great! Up to 90 minutes of yin is usually okay in a single session.
