I really think going for dinner with Ben would be such an interesting and informative evening, I love food both cooking and eating but the informative commentary on the dishes would be really cool.

That jerk fried chicken looked really good. The batter appeared to be really nicely spiced and it looked really crispy and I thought the batter looked really thick and then when Ben said it was triple battered I was like "Ah yes." But thinking about international spices and spice blends that you could incorporate with fried chicken, how about taking Indian spices and making fried chicken out of that? Cumin, coriander powder, cayenne, turmeric, cardamom, fenugreek , salt and a nice garam masala? Add that to the flour. Marinate the chicken in yogurt and that spice blend overnight. Then before you fry, bring the chicken to room temp, wipe off the excess, dredge in the flour, then fry until GBD (Golden Brown and Delicious). But what to serve it with? Maybe some tamarind based sauce and/or a coriander and chili based sauce like what samosas are served with? And a nice tomato and cucumber raita to cut through the spiciness? What do you guys think?

I'm from Israel so it's pretty funny to hear you say that you've never had fried chicken that tastes like this before, when around here schnitzel is a family staple in nearly every home :)
I feel similarly to you, having grown up in Germany. Chicken schnitzel was commonly available alongside the pork and veal variants at the butcher's shop or the supermarket. We just limited ourselves to breading the chicken and dared not use more exotic flavours than a touch of paprika.
You guys should try recreating the infamous paella burrito, and strive to make the paella filling as authentic as possible, from the ingredients used to the techniques implemented. It would be interesting to gauge the feedback when the filling itself is undeniably a true paella, with the only non-authentic element being the tortilla. Perhaps you could sway their opinion.
Just made my own. Drumsticks in buttermilk with garlic powder smoked paprika and some MSG. Soaked 6 hours and then dipped into potato starch and deep fried. Crunchy as!

If you're interested in middle eastern food, you should definitely have gotten some schug to go with the schnitzel. (Pronounced with a phlegmy ch after the s, followed by an oo before the g.) It's super traditional sauce, kind of like a spicy Yemenite pesto.
Hey guys! I think many of us would really appreciate it you made a video on how to reheat or keep certain dishes warm. Often if you (or at least me) try to reheat left overs it either comes at the cost of taste or consistency and texture (e.g. chips or waffels which become completely dry or floppy). Please make a video where you show tips to reheat stuff and keep it warm properly :D
I really appreciate all the different formats you have going on and I definitely think the variation is vital for keeping the channel on a successful route, but every once in a while I'd really love for you to bring back your classic recipe video format. Always loved watching those.

Hey Sorted! Taiwanese fried chicken is seasoned with five spice powder, available from Asian marts :) some cajun too. Paprika and cayenne for a spicy version.
Better is chicken fried steak and eggs. You could use a chicken I suppose. Make one of those schnitzels. Some creamy, garlicky, peppery Southern gravy. Or there's chicken and waffles in a sticky honey/ molasses hot sauce glaze with a knob of butter and maple syrup.
I love Thai fried chicken! I don't know what it is but is so delicious. The place I go to marinates in coconut milk and spices before hand and then fries it. It is then served with a sweet thai chili sauce. It is so so good.
The Taiwanese chicken in this video pleasantly surprised me!! it's called 鹽酥雞 or 鹹酥雞, which translates roughly to salt and pepper chicken! you guys got the chicken cutlet, but we also tend to fry small bits of chicken with other things, like sweet potato, taro, string beans, fish cakes, etc. and fried basil. there's also the spice powder, which is honestly amazing. Most western versions however just serve the chicken with possibly some fried basil. if you guys want to try more Taiwanese food in London, it's the only place I found while I was vacationing there, but it's called JiaBa at Old Spitalfields Market! The owner was super nice, actually went to Taiwan to learn the dishes (which can also vary between regions!! For example, the north's version of 滷肉飯(pork braised rice) is sometimes sweeter than the south's version.), and they also have a version of Taiwanese fried chicken as well! Also, try the Taiwanese sausage there!! It's a staple, super delicious, and easy to eat. I don't know when I'll be back in London, but I'm definitely going back to this stand when I do.
I went to Camden when I visited London earlier this year. Not what I expected. It was mostly tourists lol. I was also in that exact location you were sitting in and settled for some south american food. It was actually really nice but I wish I had watched this video before and gone for the Jamaican fried chicken
Haha he may be on to something though! I just came back from Taiwan and my Taiwanese friend kept on referring to Taiwan as SE Asia. When I tried to correct him, he said that locals think of themselves as SE Asia too.

Have eaten so much Taiwanese chicken. Soooo sooo good. But nothing beats my mom's chicken katsu curry. Also, i think that Jamaican style chicken is something i would love to try since its kind of new to me. Also, katsu curry burger... Want!!!
Guys, you just gotta try brazilian "frango a passarinho"! Deep fried chickens thighs and wings coated with garlic crisps and just a spread of lemon juice. You'll love it!
I've been to Camden a few times and I've actually had the jerk chicken and it was amazing. Just outside the market itself is a place called "Bang Bang Chicken" and it's probably the best chicken I've ever had.

If you're ever in Glasgow, the place to visit for chicken has to be Buck's Bar on West Regent street ... Hands down the best southern fried chicken in the city!
