For the last stop on our little American tour, we hit up Iowa State Fair which has over 100,000 visitors daily, and attempted to complete an INSANE foodie challenge! We also discovered that cheesecake ON A STICK is SO SO good and finished the day off by heading up into the sky in a giant hot air balloon where we got some incredible views of the city.

What I love about this series is that you dont experience a destination like tourists...ie out of place and cliche. You take in, and enjoy the hidden beauties of each location that is authentic and unfiltered. The chemistry and lightness of the comradery between you guys really makes this channel the most genuine entertainment on RU-vid.

My family and I went to the Minnesota State Fair (I guess one of the biggest, we're from Canada) What we did is we got one of everything and shared it, so we weren't over stuffing ourselves, and could try more. I recommend this system :)

I’m loving that Sorted is getting to visit the middle of America！I have grown up on a farm in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest and I’ve traveled all over the world and USA, but there’s nothing like where I’ve grown up!

I /definitely/ recommend you go to the Minnesota State Fair next year! It's internationally known, and has had many foods invented there. Minnesota is huge on craft beer, so it has plenty of interesting beers too. There was a dill pickle beer this year. They also have a cookie stand, Sweet Martha's Cookies, which produces 3 million (super delicious) cookies a /day/! I'm also pretty sure it's where things like deep fried oreos came about.

I'm so glad you got a chance to see the American midwest! So many English RU-vidrs think that America is NewYork or Los Angeles. The only thing that would have made this better, would be to have James be embarrassed about something at the fair.

You should come to Canada and do these! You'll need to try Beavertails, tourtiere, Sucre a la creme, poutine, Nanaimo bars, butter tarts, Montreal smoked meat, pudding chomeur, maple taffy (the one poured on snow!) Coffee crisp, and all our fun flavours of chips (or crisps) I'd suggest going to Ottawa and Quebec City

This is probably the best Ad-based video on RU-vid. It wasn’t obvious it was an ad, and the experiences you guys showed us weren’t at all fake or acted out. It’s literally just you guys having the time of your lives and enjoying each other’s company. Hell, I want to visit Iowa now and I’m from the US, just on the Atlantic Coast in New Jersey. This was pure nostalgia for me. My mom and I went to the Indiana State fair every year when I was a kid in the '80s. The food was basically the same and I loved watching a bunch of Brits enjoy it all. Love you guys and what you do! Thanks💜

Alright. You guys are gonna have to go to Indiana. We might not have to anything other than corn but in my little town we have this place called the Village Kitchen. They make some of the best food in the county. I also recommend going to Shipshiwanna. The while town is an Amish city with amazing home made food that's to die for. Not to mention that most every thing they make comes from their own gardens and farms.

Thank you. I lived in Iowa for a couple of years and I consider it my second home. The people are genuinely kind and accommodating. You really won't find nicer people anywhere. Thank you for not acting like the people of Iowa are bumpkins or uneducated. You didnt react negatively when asked if you were Australian. Seeing a little piece of Des Moines really made my day and I needed it. Thank you

Iowa is the best Midwest State Fair?! What?!!!! It's Minnesota. We are basically tied with Texas for the largest fair in the country and we continue to beat records of attendance. You should of gone to Minnesota. And definitely looking at this, you missed some amazing finds that aren't at the Iowa State Fair

You should have gone to the Minnesota State Fair. Way better. It was actually named the #1 fair in the country last year. People come from around the country and the world to attend it.
