4 Relationships EVERY Pastor NEEDS to Succeed
There are four essential relationships pastors need to thrive! Your ministry success depends on having the right kind of relationships around you. I want you to avoid the most common mistakes pastors make and have a healthy relational support system around you to lead well. I'll define a significant mark of a healthy pastor and explain how a pastor builds healthy relationships. If you're looking for relational guidance for pastors on how to build relationships in ministry, this video is for you. These are the relationships every pastor needs to succeed in long-term ministry health and how to be a better pastor.

Journal Exercise:
1. Describe a time when a friend helped you out of a tough situation. What did they do, and how did it make you feel? How do friends like this make you a better leader? Write down three ways you can show appreciation to these friends this week.
2. Reflect on the people who have been particularly supportive to you. How did it impact your ministry? Make a bullet point list of the ways you currently need ministry support. Who will you ask for help? What specifically will you say to invite them?
3. Think about a person you trust completely, who supports you through thick and thin. How does their support make a difference, especially when you’re struggling? List two things you can do to build or strengthen your relationship with them.
4. Consider the mentors and guides in your life who have helped you learn, grow, and become more faithful and fruitful in ministry. Describe a time when their insight or wisdom had a significant impact upon you. How did it change your perspective or actions? Identify a potential mentor or guide you would like to learn from. Write down how you will approach them and what you hope to gain from them.

I’m glad it was helpful for you and your leadership in the church. Keep praying and looking! “Ask, seek, knock” …. your Father has good things for you.

I think the church in America would be in a different position if pastors did this. Thank you!

Yes! Relationally healthy pastors strengthen relationally healthy churches. Relationally healthy churches lead others into relational health with God and one another. Help us Lord!
