Well, that's the thing. A book of the tenants of the Imperial Cult would make the Lex Imperialis and its 10,000 years of addendums to it look like a children's picture book by comparison. The Imperial Cult isn't Leticio Divinatus based as generally thought of. It's not the Bible to their Catholicism. A more apt comparison would likely be something like the works of Engles to Communism (A man who wrote about things like how the family needs to be dissolved as the root of all evil and oppression) to the practical applications which put little if anything into it. Leticio Divinatus might have been an early work inspiring people. But it has been mostly left in the past and forgotten, having little influence over the reality that arose. The Imperial Creed is a staggering collection of different religious beliefs. Think if... everything single faith ever imagined or practiced on Earth throughout our history was all running concurrently in different locations. Except every mention of a God/Force/Concept at the core of the Religion was Called "Emperor". There's ancient Greeks worshiping Emperor as the King of all Gods on Mount Olympus. There's Ancient Scandians worshiping a one eyed wise frost giant killer under the name Emperor. There's Bhuddists who believe in a cycle of reincarnation that they seek to escape in order to break past the wheel and join The Emperor in the existence beyond, etc. All of these exist at once. All of them are declared a true, honest belief and defended as Not Heresy by the Ecclesiarchy, allowing their own traditions, rituals, and beliefs to go about mostly unhindered (Usually sneaking tenets of secular imperial law into it like providing tithes to the Emperor and shooting aliens in the face). And that... is basically what the Imperial Creed actually is. The most massive, loosely organized, footloose alliance of religions to ever be seen.

Could be the whole Wonder Woman effect. Addendum: One thing that I think you missed, but I get it's for newbies... is the mention that The Imperial Creed isn't really a religion. Well, not like we'd think of it. There is no Nicean Creed as it were for the Imperial Cult. You know all the "We believe in one god, the father, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in his only son, who was put upon the cross and died for our sins" etc. I mean it's worth mentioning I think, because a LOOOOOT of people, even veterans seem to think that the Ecclesiarchy is a distinct religion, that Leticio Divinatus is "The Bible" and that they're just "Catholics in Space" as it were. When the truth is that the Ecclesiarchy is at best a very loose confederation of literally hundreds of thousands of distinct different religions with their own practices, saints, morals, and cultural traditions that have been rooted out for any signs of Chaos corruption, and then approved as Not Heresy by the Ecclesiarchy as soon as they take whatever god-figure the religion had (If any) and insert Emperor instead. I get that it might be a bit overly complex for what you're doing here as a newbie guide... but as an Ecclesiarchy fan in general and Sororitas in particular it bugs me. Because very few people in the fandom in general seem to know about that sort of thing. Not like it's obscure knowledge, it's written right into the lore in a lot of places from details of the Missionaria Galaxia, part of the role of Priests in Regiments of the Imperial Guard (Which includes making sure there's no holy war between regiments who venerate the Emperor in different ways), etc. But somehow it gets glossed over by everyone to be replaced with the whole "Space Catholic" thing as if it were one distinct, concrete religion with concrete articles of faith written in said book. Because in the brief touch you gave on their religion you kind of left the impression that it was a single, distinct faith. At least to me.

Don't worry i'll be going in more depth about 'Faith' and the Ecclesiarchy itself for a future episode to explain it all in greater detail.
