Excellent video. Especially because I am currently playing around with 45 Colt loads in a lever action... again. You won't find many youtubers willing to shoot a 45 Colt off the bench. Subscribed
I think the grouping ability of the rifle is better, but the stock sights are the limiting factor. Probably a rear peep and front square top brass blade combo would really improve it.
I shot Jerry’s Henry with my 45 pistol can on it and it was quiet , might dabble in 45lc if the right threaded lever comes along. Must have peeps or holes for a dot for these old eyes though!
It would me great for you to re-barrel your 6.5 Creedmoor, restock it with a magpul stock then you will have a drop 10 round magazine and see the accuracy improvement, the old barrel seem to be prone to flyers. I would had gone with a 357 mag lever rifle. If you hunt thick brush you made a good choice. Like what my dad told me stick with military calibers, shit hits the fan you can find ammo. Hay mister can I have some of that M60 ammo. LOL LOL LOL 45 colt ammo or components can't be that easy to find. Slow moving bullets you have to do a lot of testing to find the expansion velocity.
