I usually dodge licence tie in games unless it gets extremely good universal reviews and only then if I really like the licence and the genre. So I rarely buy them. I started buying games in 1982 for the 2600 - and that rule has saved me so much money. :)

The developers of the Universal Studios game could have included bonus rounds. The idea of these would be to earn points to get a VIP tour. Bypass the long queues at the more popular rides and attractions. Make it just like a real visit to Universal Studios.

Wow, even virtually, crowds of people prevent you from doing things! I haven't much to complain about in my small GameCube collection except by type: Sports, Hunting, some kids games, 1st person shooters. A surprisingly solid system and tend to play the games on Wii because of the component cable set-up.

I aggree, you could add some rare and expensive games like cubivore, spells and spirits, ribbit king and gotcha force! These games are bad and expensive! Other bad games are TMNT games and power puff girls on the gamecube! Great video!

Hey John this was SPOT ON. I sadly own 4 out of 5 in your video the only one I didn’t own was shrek, And man…The sum of all fears…I forgot I own that flaming turd of a game. I hated it when I bought it on release date I remember I couldn’t see half the stuff on screen so it was a funny trip to memory lane. Thank you sir 🙏🏼💪🏼

I remember being excited playing universal theme park. But boy that dropped when I played a few of the mini games and found out you had to pick up a certain amount of trash to ride the rides. Also the camera is terrible and the controls are even worse.

The first game I bought when I bought my GameCube new was Universal Studios. I beat it, but it took forever and required throwing a lot of trash away in game.

When you mentioned Prince of Persia when talking about Cat Woman, it almost made me think I should try it...but no, I must resist the bad movie tie-in!

I bought the game cube when it came out specifically just so I could play the new Zelda that came out at the time. Which I think was Wind Waker. They didn't have any normal copies of the game, but for $5 more the had the delux bonus edition that had the new game, and also another disc that had the full version of every Zelda game that came before it. Minus any of the Gameboy titles. I couldn't give them my money fast enough. And it did have every single Zelda game, full version. I was stoked 🤘

when I was with my first gf she rented the catwoman GCN game on gamefly, yeah I remember it being just god-awful. like trying to swing off a pole like you can in prince of persia, its a lot harder than it needs to be! the game WISHES it was prince of persia, but it just sucked. all those other games looked downright atrocious as well.

I actually beat that last game on your list. Universal Theme Parks Adventure. It popped up in my collection one day. Don't know where it came from but I was pretty bored so I decided to complete it. Kind of a waste of my time.

Hey John, did you ever play Bruce Lee for the Xbox? It was hyped up to be a killer app for the system, but was the worst brawler I've ever played.

I remember seeking out The Sum Of All Fears when I was young just because it was terrible. I had a thing for playing bad games in my teens, and yeah it’s horrible. I still have it to this day too. However, when I was a kid and the GameCube first came out I rented the Universal game and yeah, it was frustrating as all hell. Worst game I ever rented besides Simpsons Wrestling for PS1. I’m surprised The Scorpion King didn’t make this list!

Usually as a rule of thumb I steer clear of games tied to movie franchises. I learned my lesson way back with Total Recall for the NES. Thank god I only rented it.

The GameCube has one of my favourite controllers. But that can't save some of those games! Which rightfully give movie tie in games a bad reputation!

Universal Studios was my first Gamecube game ever. After a while I sold it because I got bored of it, only to buy it again one or two years ago.

I bought the RE4 limited edition GC console and only bought Resident Evil games for the console :)

I didn’t mind the Universal Studios game as much as I expected but its by no means good.

The part in the Universal Studios game where you can't get on rides because the line is too long makes it more realistic. If they charged you $20 for a hot dog that would make it even more realistic.

The Worst Gamecube game for me was SpongeBob SquarePants Revenge of the flying Dutchmen, it had N64 type graphics, Tons of times where the game crashed and reset, and Boring fetch Quest. For the next Video, could you do Bad PS3 games?

Sum of All Fears looks just like original Ghost Recon on GC. Although they probably just used the engine. GR on GC was a really good game. Probably the most realistic shooter in the era of 007

That Catwoman game is pretty impressive for Gamecube graphics with reflections, dynamic shadows, and advanced lighting. It's a shame the gameplay sucks.

Gamecube/PS2/OG Xbox/GBA/Windows XP was the best gaming era period.

You gotta collect trash for aaaages just to get into an attraction in universal studios, like a long time! It is the definition of boredom with very little to no reward for you efforts . Take a cue from this game's mechanic, and put it in the trash

If you'd included Charlie's Angels in your Worst Sega Saturn Games video, people would have said, "Well, the graphics are fairly decent for the Saturn."

Batman: Dark Tomorrow on Gamecube is really bad too. I have beaten it with two bad endings.😠 The fighting combat on enemies is garbage there's no stealth whatsoever and even the boss fights are so damn easy it's like nothing.

I only have 40 GameCube Video Games but thankfully none of these “BAD Games” 🤪🤪🤪🤪

I think I played CA on PS2 it's just as broken and bad as the GQ version. Glad I missed all those other games you listed.. they don't seem fun at all.

Aquaman and a couple of the Batman games, "Dark tomorrow, et al" are truly awful in gameplay and control. I need to stand up for 'Shrek 2" though; a "Gauntlet" style game that my friends and I had hours and hours of fun with!

A virtual "stand in line for the ride" game. Why go the park when you can experience the same thrills at home?

Megaman anniversary collection. Only because they reversed the jump and shoot buttons. I was so disappointed after I bought it. It's basically unplayable

It seems that the better the graphics got the worse movie tie ins got. I mean, they have rarely ever been good, but the more power consoles got meant that more work would need to go into a crappy movie licenced game and they kinda just gave up trying too hard I think... reskinning other crappy games seems to have happened quite a bit too , knowing that after the initial hype of the movie that the game will be bargain bin fodder in no time meant minimum development costs and maximum profit.
