I'm very glad to find this I'm 65 and was donating blood at the Red Cross and everything was OK except. Blood pressure 76 was 104. They only allow 50/100. My last months donation was Normal and jumped to 104. I took to info to my Dr and we did EKG. NO results YET. I do YOGA everyday for a hour. I'm from a family that have heart disease, diabetes, If you're looking for a good place to do yoga, stroke and cancer. I've been trying to get into the meditating & BREATHING EXERCISE. If you're looking for a great place for seniors to do yoga on RU-vid yoga with Andriene it is too cool for school I've been doing it for a year and a half I've been dedicated to yoga's for since 2019 with my local high school old lady group.

Thank you for this. I always thought there are many factors that effect one's blood pressure. But this is so well put. How about giving us some ways that we can improve on those 5 things that push up our blood pressure?
Hi Mike. Thanks. I have multiple videos on my channel that cover that topic. Here's one of them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wj00JscCpsU.html
I'm wondering about the salt intake,, I never had used or ate salty foods much, when I would have a blood test it showed so low on salt it was almost in the dangerous zone. I have heard that the low salt diet actually not good for the heart. I have gone one meal a day, consuming a little more salt than I had, subsequent blood test show in middle range for salt. I also take a potassium supplement . I'm not too sure about the American Heart Association assessment.
