5 Journals I Recommend For Your Healing Journal

Journaling is amazing on so many levels especially when you designate different journals for different things. This allows you to stay present and focused on what you are processing without the noise of other things you want to process.
I have several sets of these journals I have for different places. You do not need to do that but for me if it's not convenient I am most likely going to create and excuse as to why I can't do it.

I don't like writing in typical style journals because it's uncomfortable to write in when I get to the bottom of the page. So I decided to use a loose leaf binder with 5 separate sections. It works for me because I can take the pages out and easily utilize the bottom of the pages. And it's easy to just pull the pages to burn. Plus a pack of paper is less expensive than journals and I can customize the binders with stickers or positive sayings that inspire me and make me happy. Then I can keep one binder in my car, one in my bedroom and one in my living room I find it better than having 5 of each in each area. I hope this helps someone. ❤️

With dyslexia, I find it difficult to write sometimes because I get self conscious about my spelling even though I am the only one who will ever read my journals. The journaling helps me so much because it gives me a space to process outside of my head. I appreciate you so much. I am enjoying the journey of self care.

Hi Lori, I follow you regularly and I am extremely grateful for the 5 journals. Initially I didn't think there was a use for the data dumping journal. Wrong, now I have one lol. I have been journaling since early April and I feel it has helped me tremendously to become more grounded. One thing I choose to do is write in my negative journal after the gratitude and before the positive journal so I am starting and ending on a good note. I listen to your podcasts and follow you on TikTok. Thank you.

I like the different pens/different color pens for different journals. I think it's an awesome way to keep each journal unique and separate from the other.

I listened to your podcast on what does it mean to show up for yourself well after that and finally viewing your journals I made my own set and started using them immediately. In this moment I took a deep breath grabbed my heart and said Rome wasn’t built in a day. It is what it is.

@@LoriWheeler Thank you so much for commenting on this it really shows me that I’m takin the steps towards my goals and every time I say something out loud that’s facts I can feel the vibrations, and get instant goosebumps, I have great intuition as well. I listen to your podcast everyday and I’m goin through every single one til I catch up on your new ones. I am sooooo grateful for the tools. I also went to the library looking for your book they didn’t have it. I am fully embracing the unknow and am in total uncomfortableness but I know I am growing!!! @@LoriWheeler I listen to you every morning like literally ANY chance I get, i listened to the podcast with your husband Paul as well and you guys were talking about goals and steps and to believe and realize Rome wasnt built in a day. That’s FACTUAL FACTS!!EVERYTHING you say hits home. I have been through very similar things as you, I have adhd as well. I finally signed a lease without anyone first time of my life!!! I was soooo scared in the middle of a break up. Just had to revise it. I am learning and growing everyday💙 Today it’s official I have a place of my own it’s just me and my 3 boys. I always pause and breathe in baby blue and exit in 🌈 ANYONE reading this the tools work and when I say she is literally saving me I mean it. I am not at the point of fully loving myself I’ve got more work I want to do more on that for me. I had no idea on august 8th when the ball dropped I was legit blind sided. I didn’t know I’d be where I’m at today and even in a short amount of time I’ve been patient and will continue to do so FOR ME AND ONLY ME!!! I am so grateful literally feeling the universe and it is listening I’ve had SOOOO MANY signs!!! I am living breathing proof this works if you work it!!!🫶🏼🌞⚡️💫🗣️💪🏼

You can buy spiral notebooks or pretty one. Just anything that works for you

I can’t commit to writing in different locations. I use my iPad and I have different journals that I made there. I always have it for my planner and work stuff and my creative stuff. I hope this is ok. Easier to have different colors for each journal and I can erase the negativity and data dump easily at new moon or full moon.

Hi Lori. You’re amazing in your work. I have a question. For the mood journal, are you able to go more in depth detail. I’ve tried mood journals before and it didn’t work for me. I want to keep track of my moods and dove into it but idk the correct way to get started on that

No, that would be waiting for you to “feel” ready. This is absolutely a tool that’s overwhelming in the beginning on purpose 😌

Hi Lori! it is very hard for me to understand the difference between negative journal and mood journal. What I have been doing is this for example: in the negative journal I would write: " I don't want to work today I am so tired" or " I don't want to go to that party this weekend is going to be that person I dont like...On the other hand in the mood journal would be for example a continuation of the negative saying: "Okay I am feeling anxious for Saturday or I am frustrated at work because blah blah..." I hope I could explain myself. Is it something like that? Could you explain a little more the difference? Thank you so much! Gracias! ❤️❤️❤️

The mood journal isn't just continuing. Its to evaluate the deeper feeling state. ex: Instead of I just don't want to go... I feel weighted down, shallow breathing, frozen. Mood is not a word but a description. Negative journal is a stream of conscious
