5 Minute Morning Yoga With Adriene. Don't have a lot of time? Take 5 to promote healthy flow of energy so that you can do your best, be authentic and Find What Feels Good!
Feb is a short month so we decided to answer the requests for short practice video with a month of Yoga Quickies. Set the tone for your day and remember, a little goes a long way!
Yoga Quickies show us that we do not need 30, 60, 75 min. That we don't always have to do legs on leg day. But rather, that the reward, the cookie, the good stuff actually just arrives when you do too.

I have never done yoga before or been active at all in the past 4 years so I'm very stiff. This routine seems perfect for a beginner with my level of mobility (under 0 lmao) and feels like something I could use to create a morning routine and help my mental health. Even Adriene's words during the routine are perfect when she says to be grateful to our body for being able to do what they do, It's very much needed when you're someone that has let themselves down and now trying to get better and gain some self-appreciation back. Thank you

Day 50 done!! Can’t believe I’ve managed 50 days of daily yoga. It’s been transformative, I feel energised but calm. A very different type of energy that one could get from say, caffeine (I’m off caffeine for 50 days also and it’s been wonderful )

I am an old lady 70 this year i have practised yoga on and off for years as part of my fitness regime and to support my running activities. Running for me was an escape from work and responsibilities my free time. But age took over and I can't run anymore. I missed my club, my friends, my routine. It was time to find new ways of looking after myself. Now through my daily practice and my teachers at my weekly classes i am learning a new joy and awareness, I am finding a new inner peace and when mediating lots of love and I am getting back my health. Thank you Adrienne i so appreciate your gift of practice.

As a handicapped person I either do the yoga in my wheelchair or on the floor, making adaptations as I go. Honestly, though, many times I simply watch you, watch your body move effortlessly from one pose to the next. I consider it a meditation just to watch you move with your beautiful smie, and listen to your soothing voice! Thanks for that!

I looked for this video because I've been reading this book called MiniHabits in which the author says that instead of trying to be perfect just do something like one pushup to create your new habit. So 5 minute daily yoga I can do and this is going to be my new mini habit!

Just want to give props to my girl Adriene for the best yoga videos ever and say I just read an article about you on Forbes.com from a woman who started yoga at the Himalayan Institute and finally found Adrian on you tube and said she was the BEST AND SHE WOULD RECOMMEND HER I love it GOOOOOOO ADRIENE YOU ARE AWESOME I went to hospital for 5 days at day 20 of yoga revolution but because she is so great when I got out I started from the beginning because she makes you just feel like you can do anything yall check out out the article on our girl

I am better I have something called diverticulitis and it flared up on me but I was watching u in hospital I did the gentle practice because I couldn't do much the nurses were like what u doing I said Yoga with Adriene lol thx for responding and keep being u I love when u break into song and make goofy jokes it's needed music and laughter are necessary in life Namaste 🙏 🙏 🙏

I might save this to come back to when I'm travelling a little later this month, some of those travel days have a longer practice scheduled that I might need to swap. I just want to say you gave me my shoulders back for awhile now I would get sharp pain every time I raised my arm or did any significant movement involving my shoulders, but ever since I started doing regular yoga with you I am pain free so I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart! I do also have plantar fasciitis and was wondering if you had any advice or videos that would help with that

Awesome short yoga practice today Adriene. Thank you for this little beauty, it is good to reconnect to our bodies, especially in this fast paced, world that we live in. Before this practice I had a little awakening, and a realising everything, about me is connected. I've always thought all my bits of personality were separate, but there not there connected to each other. I know that might sound a little odd to some people, but it makes sense to me. And it had helped me, to feel a bit more connected, and as one in life. Your yoga you teach me has helped me greatly, especially in finding myself, and getting through life's struggles. You know when you have those days, where you're feeling supremely demotivated like, "ugh i really can't do yoga today..." Then you see this video pop up in your feed and think, "5 minutes? I love these 5 min. sequences. I don't have a lot of time to for myself throughout the day. To combat this, I do one of these 5-7 min sequences every single morning. It has completely changed my perspective of what taking time for yourself means. I just wish that there were more videos like this.

airplainchild same here. I was lying in bed this morning refusing to get up and browsing RU-vid. I found this video, started it right away, did table top and downward facing dog on my bed (I know, not the best) and then the standing positions right beside my bed. It got me out of bed, stretched my body and reminded me to be thankful for it :) now I'm ready to kick ass on this stressful day

I love doing this one first things. I literally roll out of bed and start, sometimes I make some modifications and do it right on the bed 😂 when I don't have the ability to roll out

I can't believe how much you offer for free Adrienne. I've tried yoga many times but with you, I actually enjoy it. But seriously, what a GIFT that you put so much out there for free. I started doing this after having a baby. It has been amazing because I have so little time and it is the only workout I can scoop out of my new schedule at the moment. These 5 minutes can mean everything when you have a tiny baby and you need to get back on track!

Omg Adriene this was amazing - I was already showered and dressed for work when a change of plan meant I would be working from instead, so I was already feeling more prepared than usual for the day. And then I refresh my sub feed and see this and immediately ran to roll out my mat - thank you so much for helping me find the perfect routine to start my day with! I will be trying to do this daily I think, and had such a big smile on my face when I was done 💜
