Today we're going to discuss how to lose weight and keep it off. I've been in the fitness space for over 10 years and I've helped over 1000 people in fitness. I've distilled the 5 tools you need to lose weight and keep it off for good.
The first step to lose weight and keep it off is to lift weights. This allows you to preserve and potentially build lean tissue. The activity of lifting weights burns calories both while, and after doing it. Not only do you burn calories from lifting weights, but you burn calories by having more lean tissue which is a result of lifting weights.
The second stop to losing weight and keeping it off is to do cardio. You don't have to do the traditional cardio that you see at the gym but you have to do cardio several days per week. This will allow you to eat more without gaining weight.
The third step to losing weight for good is to manage your alcohol consumption. I've never worked with someone who has lost weight and kept it off who is an alcoholic.
The fourth step to losing weight and keeping it off once and for all is to eat a whole foods, minimally processed, high protein diet. This provides adequate volume and satiating nutrients which will help with your weight loss journey.
The final step to finally losing weight for good is to be consistent. You can't go hard for a few months and fall off. You have to be consistent even when you don't feel like it.
