The shorter style is so easy and looks very handsome. However, it cannot give me that same level of confidence when I walk into a room when I have a big beard hanging off my face.

Definitely agree. I feel more confident with longer beard BUT I still have plenty of confidence with a short beard.

Hey man! I no longer use a leave-in, but I did in the past. I'm actually thinking about going back to that leave-in instead of using straight water. It's pretty ironic that you asked. Check out a company called Neter Gold. Evan Alexander and Scotch Porter have a leave-in, but Neter Gold has liquid leave-ins. Liquid leave-ins are my preference.
