Your body holds up great for as long as you have been powerlifting at a high level. I am jealous.

@@JJ-to6quThis, for sure ☝️. I’d watch a video about Brandon’s diet and recovery. As for the stretching, he’s done a bit of that in one of his “lift with me” videos.

People surprised he can still do this north of 40. This is what good form, periodization, properly healing injuries and deloading does. Almost anyone can make it this long if they lift smartly.. but relatively few will. Even Ronnie.. he had surgery and ignored his doctor's commands. So it wasn't even the heavy lifting that did him in like so many mistakenly believe. He just couldn't hold himself.

@@hvskyline1368 so the rogue sets have shipping baked in, so not technically free. The only issues I have with the DD is if you are lifting heavy they take up a lot of real estate on the sleeve. Nice plates though!

Hey Brandon, I hear you have a Voltra 1 from Beyond Power. I would love to see your review on it. You know they swindled Adrian at Gluck's gym, that turned me off. I never trusted a machine where a cable goes in and out of a housing. Too much jerkiness and not enough reliability. A guy did a review to prove my point where he said after 6 months of use the cable was fraying and shreddding. Now why buy a machine where that happens every 6 months, no thank you. Coop of course praised it so as to not upset the free equipment apple cart but I want to see honest reviews. Coop is good for seeing new equipment as he gets it 10 times faster than any reviewers but you can't trust a word he says, he sold out so long ago nobody has believed him in years but he still gets all the free stuff to review, so much he had to rent a warehouse and he still hasn't got enough room and that's after he filled his family and friends gyms up with his free overflow. Yeah, No scruples but a whole lot of free gym equipment. I'd like you and Gluck to get what he does but I know yall are honest and he had to sell his integrity and soul to get it so I think you and Gluck are doing just fine.
@BasementBrandon
@BasementBrandon 4 месяца назад
I'll do one at some point for sure. I'm not sure they swindled Gluck, but I believe he was one of the first to talk to them and they were basically just looking to lend him the units for testing review without any other kind of compensation. I actually declined them for quite a while before deciding to give them a go b/c it was a fairly simple ask, they agreed to send them out to me to test and if I didn't like them they just asked I send them back. Since getting them I can tell you I'm super impressed. These are smooth (and more versatile) than my Prime single stack. I didn't watch Coops review b/c I don't want to be influenced by what he says, but I (and my wife) really dig these so far. Of course the concerns are longevity and support, but I think they're exploring options on that now. The cable should be covered for the first year and they're looking at brining out longer warranty plans as well. My cables have held up really well in the few months I've had the units however.
@bobbyhunt3009
@bobbyhunt3009 4 месяца назад
I'm confused, you say they did not screw Gluck but they only would lend him the unit while they sent you and Coop one to do a review on and if you did not like a $2500 piece of equipment you send it back. What kind of crap is that Hahaha, it could have been a pile of manure, if it's worth $2000 or more no sane person is sending it back, they probably sell it. See this is the problem I have with gym equipment industry, some guys get everything then others get nothing. Here Gluck gets nothing and you and Coop are winners get all. Most of time you, Gluck get nothing and Coop gets all. I see you were smart enough to accept $2500] piece and not turn down but How can you say Gluck did not get screwed, he did not get free $2500 piece. Your reply was confusing, could you explain a little cause it got my attention as you might can tell. You're not looking so hot here Brandon, please explain

@@bobbyhunt3009 It's actually fairly common for high value items to be leased in some circumstances like described above. For example I currently have an Eccentric Kbox Fly Whieel unit that if I don't use/like I must return as part of the signed agreement I have with the company. As mentioned Gluck was one of the earliest people to discuss with the company. If he had wanted to revisit this conversation today, they would likely offer to him under the same conditions as myself.
