I've been working on finding my oil leak for a while and didn't know exactly thankfully my shop was able to find this same part was leaking for me too! I'm trying to chase a coolant leak now.

This looks like one of the stories you see people bantering about all over. "6.0's are junk" no they're junk just like every other truck that people don't properly maintain

I really need help with my truck a 2004 Ford F 350 Superduty Lariat 6.0.Recently all of a sudden it starts to loose acceleration,it hardly gets to 2000 rpm and now all of a sudden it runs for sometime and then stops.I have been having this truck for about 12 years now and I have never had this type of issue with it although I don't normallty drive it often.My concern is that I have seen different people on RU-vid that when they had issues with their trucks and called technicians money was spent and the issue still persisted,surprisingly the issue was fixed eventually by the same owners of these trucks.So I really need all the help that I can get from you and all RU-vidrs that knows one or two things that can be done to get this issue resolved.

Hey, i got an 03 with 240k on it, pretty much stuck except for a 5 in axle dump, and bullet proofed. What’s a good build list for 600+ whp? Money isn’t a big issue but the cheaper the better(As long as the product isn’t junk) Any tips?

My check gauge light stays on until this oil gauge comes up which is 3-5 seconds after the engine is running. I guess I need to check that switch

Hey one quick question, I know these trucks have a problem of "no start when hot" because of LOW oil pressure to the injectors. So if I get stuck out on the freeway somewhere , is there a way to get them started to get home? I was told to simply wait 45 min to an hour, but there has to be a way to jump them or bypass the issue, just to get home?? "OR" simply call a tow truck ?? What do you suggest for a new FICM? Can it be sent off and rebuilt or should I get a new one? I've found a lot of companies that say they can fix and rebuild them. Is it worth it? Which one should I buy to replace my stock one? I tow all the time.

Would you happen to know what would cause a 06 6.0 to consume oil? The truck runs fine and doesn’t drip oil on the ground it does have caked oil in some areas.

Just had to get my oil pressure switch replaced. Leaked 9 quarts of oil over a day.

I have a massive oil leak that appears to be just above the starter , the engine valley looks dry, truck starts and runs for about 10 seconds, pukes out about 1.5 gallons of oil and shuts off. I refill the oil, and it’ll do the same exact thing, runs and pukes out all the oil and shuts off. It’s an 07 f350 6.0L.

Do you have a place online to purchase ford parts, or do you get everything from the dealership?
