I'm kinda relieved to see more INTJ working in retail and sales, it differs from the stereotypical INTJ jobs (all comp-sci related jobs, architect, etc) which shows that we are not entirely clueless about PR things. I really love this discussion and your channel! :)

Same here, I've worked in retail for about 5 years and about out half a year in a leadership role. It really helped me out with my communication a LOT, which was and still is a goal of mine to improve upon. The leadership role kind of just fell into my lap and I took it (in all honesty) to help my resume. But I learned a great deal about sales and how to work with different personalities.

So many jobs depend on opportunity not just temperament it is unrealistuc to expect that any type to only have a limited job range. I did retail sales, fast food and kids birthday parties in the past. While they were not my life's calling I learned a lot about myself and gained new skills (patience) in the process.

INTJ here - had lots of jobs before (mainly business analyst/project manager/change roles). Moved to property/real estate investing, but it was too people-heavy, which just drained me more and more as the time went. Moved to stocks and I finally feel this is a perfect “job” for me, ticking all the boxes (independent, no dramas with people, work my own hours, results orientated, intellectually challenging, etc etc). I wish I would have figured out this earlier (mid 30s now), but probably better later than never. Is someone is lost in life - consider it - stocks/other financial instruments, maybe even working in assett management/hedge fund as an analyst…As an INTJ I love everything about it - plus you dont need any very soecific formal education unlike science jobs etc. Hopefully my thoughts will help someone ❤

When you have group settings like this, it makes it clear who is and isn't an INTJ.

The video was fun. Learnt a lot of things from when they talked about their own individual experiences. Weirdly learnt how to organically be more human from Bernadette, how to develope better (almost FE) social skills from Micheal, and how to tie it all together from AsuraPsych and not have it feel unnatural and painfull. Really appreciate it, and really appreciate you Joyce for making it all possible. Please keep up the good work. And may the Spirit of Capitalism be with you, the market be in favour of you, and may the unseen youtube algorithm's light shine upon you.

I'm relieved to find that I'm not the only INTJ who has been in multiple careers. It's good to hear different strategies for managing different work environments. I'm an INTJ 6w5. So I related to most of what was said. One side note, my Mom is a counselor who is an INTJ, so I see Angelina and her having a lot in common. Thank you to everyone who was involved.

23:00 I approach many jobs learning what it entails, but after I’ve learned, I definitely see ways things can be improved and am frustrated by systems which aren’t joined for the best time management. I’m an ENFP 5w4 and it’s so odd to me how much I relate to INTJ. I am very independent job wise, I don’t interview for a job, but interview the job for myself. I need to be allowed creativity, and self reliance. This seems to me it would be how most people would want jobs to be though, if given a choice. Yes, I challenge the interviewers, and I can tell on their face they don’t like it, but I have to be able to have people understand how I work. ... as was said, I cannot, not be myself. Which is why I do not chose managerial roles. I cannot sit like a bobble head and agree with things I don’t agree with, if they’re not rational to me. I’m sure my rational varies from an INTJ rationale though. Hard core relate to all of these thoughts on working relationships. Very interesting.

Engineer sorry had to see the grimace for the cliche, but really I think that in reality anything that they actually want to be that has a future that they can intuite and that offers plenty of challenges and things to create and vision on. I feel like it would be super interesting to see what different career projections in different fields looked like similarities And differences since this type can be just so focused I wonder what the data would reveal. Board member is pretty much what it normally boils down to, researcher, vision planner and advisors, profs and creators.

Um. I would never say the phrasing "get out of your comfort zone" and i feel like it's been overdone and very cliche. We're always OUT of our comfort zones because we are alive. Life has always been a struggle and is very difficult. You know what people don't need to hear it? North Korean refugees for example. I would rather get to the point and say "you need money, go get a job, just any job, for now" rather than saying things like that. That's just me.

I am both. Does that make sense ? When I am looking at a system, I see the flaws quickly...nuanced outlook. Otherwise I am oblivious - I don't know what happened around me. I am so lost in my head, I don't even always know what I thought in the meantime. It is fuzzy.

Theses INTJ discuss are my favorites, always enjoy them. Maybe music allow us to stay in the present moment, on the external world, and think to nothing, less in our mind. I am INTJ 5w6 too (33 years old): _I did a scientific baccalaureate, _6 months study in computer science, _master's degree in art, _3 months as reception agent, I redirected people and helped them on the computer to register administratively so that they received their aid and looked for a job. _Seller in a men's clothing store, _9 months as Commercial administrative assistant: manage customer returns (opticians) input, data analysis of a matrix, and depending on whether or not to reimburse an optician, unpack, sort the returns sent by the opticians, a little logistics. Company Essilor. This place was perfect for me : open space but, always enought calm ambiance, most of the employers are Intuitives or Introverts. It was not a job for me, it was fun, like a game. Was the perfect combination for me : Science and Art together, learning new products and skills, Analyze, and advice the opticiens. But managers (all Si dom) seems don't want me, so stuck in their procedure, they want someone who already did phone calls.(that's just a detail for me, but important for them) _No job actually. Passionate about MBTI, typology, psychology, a little phylosophy, kind of a little lost, maybe try many jobs and see XD.
