7 New Features I'd Love to see Added to Minecraft

this isnt my idea but there should be an achievement called "houston, we have a problem" when you break an elytra over y = 500 (but you have to survive the fall)

The rotted wood actually might work in the upcoming wild update. It could be crafted like a trapped chest or something. At least we have dripleaves for now

I seriously believe that the alternating snow men/golem faces should be brought into the game. It looks like it’d give a space much more character, and it’d be a (slightly) hidden feature....which I’m sure everyone likes to find. Issa thumbs up from me :D

Adding to the snow golem snowman faces thing: What if the faces didn't have a nose to start out with, and then the player can right-click the snowman whilst holding a carrot to add the carrot nose? Just wanted to put that out there :)

If the air conduit ever gets added, it would be cool if you could dye it to get it to project a coloured aura of it's effective range.

I love the air conduit. It reminds me of a dream I sometimes have.

Here we are 5 years later: - The bow is still incredibly popular (crossbow didnt eliminate the need for a bow) - I still think the random snow golem faces would be funny, akin to the panda's dif faces/types - I think a holdable lantern item would ALSO still be neat/helpful. They did vaguely like... add more lighting into the caves but not in an enchantment - I also still like the Chorus Pearl, maybe as a throwable potion? - I feel like we kinda got this from Dripleaf! Not fully but a similar concept!

I quite like the rotten wood idea! All I have to say while rewatching allot of Grian’s video’s!

Coming back to this, seeing the chorus pearl idea here, I came up with a different idea for it, so my idea is that it drops out of the chorus flower while the fruit comes from the stem(or as known in game as the chorus plant), you can throw the chorus pearl and teleport without taking the damage that the ender pearl causes, but the teleportation would be less accurate, teleporting you within a ten block radius of where the pearl lands

Grian! Mojang is planning (not confirmed) to add different skins to animals that should have different skins for different biomes. Maybe they'll take your snow golem emotion idea into consideration.

When you throw a snowball at a snow golems it should start a snowball fight with all snow golems nearby

For the snow men what if you could use coal to redesign it.

Another idea: what if when you get every obtainable block in survival it gives the achievement "you're a youtuber aren't you?".

Another cool feature would be some kind of "Nether Conduit" that allows us to survive in lava and see through it.

All these are really fun ideas, it would be awesome to see even just one implemented into the game

I came back to this after so long and finally came up with a good idea for how the "sky conduit" could work! So, we already have the Elytra, as a way to fly, and slow falling, right? But slow falling runs out and Elytra's are too fast, but the whole point of elytra is locking flight behind the iron bars of defeating the ender dragon. So, what if the "conduit" for it is the dragon egg? You wouldn't have to craft it, just place it down in a structure, maybe made of new, hard to get blocks, and then you fly, but limited to a specific zone and there can only be one, so people don't manipulate it and make them everything, meaning you still need the elytra and a chestplate slot for that.

Undoubtedly my favorite was the air conduit because as a builder, I can see how useful it would be and it would make building so much fun. Also it would just be fun to swim around in the air and enjoy the view from high up with having to use rockets and an elytra or make a pillar that you can fall off of.

Ok can we just talk about when you were left with half a heart from that creeper explosion when you were talking about dynamic lighting and then a gravel block almost fell on you...

Minecraft just needs more bosses and more difficulty in general.

I think: 1:The tethered arrows seem like a neat idea, but redundant with the ender pearl, so meh. 2:The charged slime I could take or leave, but the merging slimes and giant slime boss would be AWESOME. 3:The faces on snow golems is a no-brainer. This should be in the game immediately. Imagine right clicking on a golem with sticks and produce to change the faces. I bet a beetroot would make it look like rudolph. 4:I'm personally not that interested in the rotten wood, but it's not a rotten idea. I could see it being fun for those interested. 5:Illumination enchantments seem like a good idea, but personally, I'd rather be in the habit of blocking spawns with my torches, and it interferes with that. 6:The Chorus Pearl seems like a really nice idea. Neat way to throw some chaos into the world, and, imagine if you could shoot it from dispensers! 7:The air conduit seems like the best idea that would be the most useful, but also gives me the stinking suspicion that it will never happen.

Sticky redstone, slime + redstone = redstone that can go on walls, and roofs, thats about it

Bow and tether might be cool, I think it should instead of consuming a lead every time just have like 5 uses before it breaks. Idk about the slime merging, might mess up some people's slime farms. Charged slime is a really good idea, would make for some really nice new parkour options and stuff. For snowman faces, it would be funny and there is no reason NOT to add them, so I like it. For rotten wood, maybe it could be added but of course we have the dripleaf plant (although there could be things different about it). Torches lighting up things while in your hand was actually an idea I wanted added to minecraft for a while, illumination helmet would also be really cool just like the torches but you could actually do something like a shield and a pick or a totem and a sword in your hands at the same time. Chorus pearl is a good idea but I think costing an ender pearl might be too much as it is random teleportation, so maybe something like teleportation arrows out of chorus fruit instead? Air conduit would have to be something found in the end probably but its a good idea. Nice ideas btw, I liked the vid!

The air conduit would be awesome for a sky base. I know you could just fly, but how cool would it be if you had a whole bunch of floating islands and you could just casually glide (swim) arround them?

Rotting wood feels like it should really belongs in Minecraft

for the giant slime maybe it could also consume other mobs or even the player to attack you , it would be different than a normal slime that way too , it could consume you into it and trap you waiting for you to get out kind of like goo , it would be cool if when killing it and getting slime or whatever maybe you could craft goo too and maybe in slime chunks and caves sometimes there would be goo/it would be filled with goo adding even more atmosphere to the game

Things that I really want in Minecraft: 1. Furniture 2. More food options 3. The option to pet your tamed animal 4. Different breeds of dogs (WHYD THEY ONLY DO IT TO CATS) 5. To be able to summon paranormal in Minecraft

Two that I want are both pet-related, because I love the pets in the game but feel it's criminally underused. One that I desperately want, is a "wander" mechanic for tamed animals. Right now if you have a dog, cat, or bird, you can either have them follow you or have them sit. I'd love a third option where you could tell them to "wander": they'd move like they did in the wild before you tamed them, without being scared or aggressive of course, and would stay within a certain radius of where you told them to wander. That would give so much more opportunity to add ambience to your structures by having cats or dogs actively exploring your base. A second one I'd love is the ability to tame rabbits the way you can tame cats and dogs. Even if they gave no "benefits" whatsoever beyond just following you around, for no reason other than I used to have pet rabbits lol

I think it would be nice with having "abandoned cabins" in the game, made of normal wood and rotten wood. Like, old abandoned lumberjack cabins with loot in it, like axes, food or maps. And if you fall through the floor (rotten wood) you would come to a small basement made of cobblestone and mossy cobblestone. And the cabins could be found in any biome that have a forest. I think that would be really cool.
