Controlling it means to set an appointment for the time needed to vent, narrow down the cause to one word and make fun of it. Other than that, it can cause more harm than good if not addressed and shut down when it is being done unexpectedly. 2. Society makes everyone feel guilt if you stick to what looks attractive to your eyes only. The only way you should lose out on or give up on what attracts your eyes is if you are not on the level of what you are looking for. You can not expect someone to lower their standards for you when you wont lower your standards for what you deserve. You both may not be totally attracted to each other but your happiness together can give you chances to be with others who are envious of other peoples happiness. Use them for your confidence but stay with the one you look like, because the moment you leave for the one above your level, they will disrespect you and leave you alone with no one. Even if you are attracted to someone from the start, things you go through over the years can make you lose attraction and you may need to drink or get high before you touch them. It is best to do your best and give your all for as long as you can until you are old enough to not need sex as much. If you lose the attraction while you still have your youth, it will cause many problems. 3. You have to know what they grew up believing in religion, and you have to find out how serious they take it. Just believing in God in words will not tell you much about a person. 4. When you first start dating, you are never yourself because you are learning, but as you gain your self confidence, you relax and become yourself. It may have been fun because you liked the feeling of being shy around those who you first dated, but do not feel that something is missing if you never feel like that again. People jump from relationship to the next one because they are looking for that feeling again. It is like losing your virginity, you can never feel that again. The best thing you can do is not wasted that first feeling on just anyone. Save your first kiss, your first hand holding, your first dry role, your first date.....for people you will not regret giving that moment of your time because you will always remember them and that feeling you had that moment. The one that you find that you can be yourself with, will be just like you so it will be easy to be yourself. If you know you do not like who you are, do not go be with people who you expect to change you and make you the better you that you want to be. Go practice on what you want to be first until it becomes the you that you want to be. 5. It is best to be on the same page sexually, but that can not be known any more than talking about it and agree on what you expect, until it is done. The best thing to always remember for a woman to love you is never stop the fourplay you did before you went all the way. Women need to know that men need times that sex is done how he likes it and his ways always change because they get board fast. 6. How you live life can be a problem if you want to live on different levels or different life styles. It is best to learn from how married couples lived in the bible. Everyone had their own Tent or home. 7. It is best to know if you have someone who will try to make you do things you are not willing to do. You do not need to be bothered with pushy people who will bother you to lay down your morals or values. Absolutely real message! I literally have friends tell me that my standards are too high because I won’t give a chance to someone I’m not physically attracted to. I could care less because I know from experience when you “give him a chance” when you’re not physically attracted it will eventually fall apart. I did this when I was much younger and trust me I ended up married to someone I didn’t even like.

After watching this video I feel like it touched on 6 out of the 7 signs that my husband and I are not compatible with each other. I have been trying to understand why our marriage is failing and this video has explain it. Now I feel stuck because of family and him being a nice guy. Coming to the realization that some people come into our lives or vice versa for a season and a reason. It becomes problematic when we overstay what was intended. Often times we're too close to see when it's time to walk away. Plus our hearts and minds are not in alignment. We cloud our judgement with all the investments and so much uncertainty for what's to come. The whole time hurting inside because even with this person in our life, we're still lonely emotionally and sometimes physically. But to be honest, even when walking away is what's best, it's hard because you have to mourn the loss (if not for the person) for the relationship. No one wants to sign-up for grief.

Excellent video Stephan. 🙌 I agree with 99% of it and one of the biggest lessons I have learned about myself when it comes to relationships along my healing path is that the unhealed version of me showed up in relationships much differently then the healed version will. People say opposites attract and for the unhealed version of me that unfortunately was very true. After listening to this video I married the most incompatible and polar opposite person in the world to me. With the lessons I have learned from the past; however, the healed version of me thankfully has completely different standards, wants and needs that I would never compromise again. As I always like to say why try to fit a square peg into a round hole that it was never made to fit into in the first place. Life is so short and there are so many unhappy people in relationships trying to make something work that just doesn't anymore or never really did. I am finally breaking the cycle..met a man twice and I knew he started playing me..I called him out on his BS and walked away..still sending my last voicenote in a calming feminine manner wishing him well and he made it easy for me to walk away. Conclusion: be open and honest because if I didn't close the chapter early on. I think this man was going to really hurt me. He hasn't responded to my feelings I need a man not a grown boy but he did teach me to finally stand up for myself because they will play us for months. If one person is a foodie and the other couldn't care less if he ate cereal for dinner every evening, the one who cooks will feel unappreciated and the other will feel like there is always a lot of hoopla and time lost for nothing. So much wisdom in this video. One thing that people often say when trying to convince you that looks and physical attraction don't matter is that the intense physical attraction that you can feel in the beginning fades anyway, so you shouldn't take it into account when choosing someone. But the thing is, in my observation anyway, is that while it does fade, it also comes back at times, at least in happy partnerships. I have had several elderly people in happy marriages tell me that, to them, their partner was still beautiful/handsome 30, 40, 50 years on.....

I believe you see the red flags and still believe you can make a person better or change them. You want the relationship to work so bad that you stay. You must take accountability for you being in a relationship that dont feed your soul.

What's crazy for me is I prayed to God for a specific type of man and then boom here my man came checking off all of those boxes! He had all of the qualities I wanted! BUT at the beginning there was always conflict and we both truly questioned if we were compatible so that had me confused. We broke up for a wk and since that separation things have gotten so much better and we both have grown in the areas that were issues. Things don't seem so toxic and stressful. Our biggest issue is that he plans to eventually get rid of his social security number and as of right now I can't see myself getting on board with that. So idk where we are going to end up. These topics are so true the first one alone has stopped me from dating some men. But my main two that are deal breakers for me is religion and sex. They play a huge part in how I express who I am and how I show love to the person I'm with. I have grown up Christian/ baptist but I went on a year of trying different religions (searching for god real tuff)and I found that I relate better with Jewish traditions and customs and Christian beliefs. So my faith is a little different. I stand firm on the words of proverbs 31 of who I am to be as a wife and what it means to be One as well. And I will not tolerate arguing in my relationship, because of the disrespect and hurt that comes with it, some words you just can't take back and your spiritual beliefs will show in how you will treat me and intimacy as well
