In later years, I used silicone spray. Many many moons ago, rugby balls was made out of leather, and it was our duty as players to dubbin it before every game. Having wet feet is your fault. Boots are part of your biking experience. If you neglect it, you will as you did, pay the price. Maintaining all your equipment are part of a riders responsibility. Roll the throttle forward to disengage cruise control instead of using the front brake. That front brake is a serious stopper!

Invest in over boots have been a game changer. Maybe the engine braking can be adjusted in the user settings ?

I know what you mean about the cruise control and engine breaking issue. I have a Tiger 800XRT and the problem can be overcome simply by opening the throttle a bit and then disabling cruise and the unpleasant engine breaking effect i# overcome.

I had the dealer disable the TPMS before I picked up the bike.

Did you try pulling in the clutch? Or rolling off the throttle from 70 miles an hour ? Car don’t like to move out the way anymore really they quite often try and block me they just idiots lol I’m trying the 24 model in a few weeks So i have to test cruise control at 70 see if it does the same I use the RST boots I do not get wet feet so I guess you need to upgrade your boots Good video though

Don’t know how I’d cope coming up 67 if the seat isn’t up to much,, I’ve been looking at the GT Pro I’m only a bit over 5ft 9 ,this bike I. Would not feel comfortable or safe on its to tall for me ,

Well 10 minutes in of trying a new RU-vid channel and having listened to him talk of his 30 years driving experience I then watch minute after minute of this experienced driver spend his time flicking around menus, on the move, for no real purpose and something he could have and should have done stationary. Had someone come passed him in a car playing with his mobile, like me, I guarantee he would consider the driver a twat; well I'm afraid you set a very similar, if not worse standard and acquire a similar title. They says there's no replacement for experience, well here's someone out to prove that wrong. By 15 minutes and a load of waffle about sausages I remember I have a life and I've just wasted a quarter of an hour. Save yourself some life and move on without viewing.
