Turbo 3v's sound a lot like Koenigsegg's. Didn't know until recently that Koenigsegg used the 3v 4.6L V8 as a base for their Agera lineup, hence the similarity in sound. Can't wait to put a turbo on mine
Golly that thing is fast! Shooting for a 1K+ whp build, this gives me a lot of motivation to get it there! It’s sick 👊🏼 2 questions though; What size piping are you running, and in conjunction, what MAF are you using?
dude sick ass build im in the works of getting a on3 kit right now i just gotten the coolant crossover and about to get started on the build, itll be more on the budget build side. My car is so similar to yours with same color and stock look just lowered so its like looking at what my car might be. crazy
Oh wow! that diff is noisey. I rode around with my rear gutted for 1 day and decided to make a custom rear seat delete out of 1/8 inch abs sheet. I've got some slight gear whine on decel, but nothing like yours. You wouldn't think something so thin would dampen the sound, but it works great. That thing sounds so good just rowing through the gears.
Yeah mines is loud lol but I did get it rebuilt I think the measurements are just a tad off but it’s been like that for about a year with no issues lol I have the rebuild kit but I been lazy lol
Its the pinion bearing, either that or backlash is off, but thats a horrible amount of noise, it shouldn't ONLY do it on deceleration, it should remain constant if it was just noisy, but his is doing it way worse on deceleration, which is indicative of pinion bearing failure. Personally im just going to buy a gt500 diff, low mileage. Shops are quoting like the same price as a used diff, for labor alone, with the parts i want, your talking at least 2000$. You can buy a used gt500 rear end shipped for less than that, and you can service it while your car is still driving around.
Love the car I have a couple of questions you have brembo brakes on the front right? What's the size of the rims on the front? Why am asking is because trying to find something better than running 20's on the front with 15's on the back thanks for the time
Thanks the guy I bought my mustang from put deep concave 20's on the front with 15's on the back smh... I didn't like the deep concave rims so I ordered pp rims from American muscle that would fit over the brembo calipers. At least I know now that 19's will fit on the front
@@Doitfor_E sick! I’m gonna run a e boost 2 and see how far it’ll go. Had the heads ported a bit, anxious to see how it does. Gonna start with gas and then move to ethanol.
What did you do to run E85 safely with stock ECU besides fuel system? I am putting my car together rn, same turbo, fore return system. Pump or race E? I'm wondering how to get around the variation of E at pump with stock ECU.
@@LightningFast240 I have my answer now. Tune it for E80/85. If the E at the pump is a little low it’ll just run a slightly rich. Otherwise fine. Can’t do flex sensor like GM.
@@gforce_117 I mean you can do flexfuel sensor. It just will have to be standalone like to a wideband. That's how I have had mine for 8 years. At least to know alcohol %
@@LightningFast240 yes I could do that but won’t change my tune on the fly. I got a wideband so I’ll be able to see if it’s a little fat from a lower percent at least.
@@cadensunsdahl4837 not true. The rating is off. Regardless the clutch is the limiting factor. The t3650 will handle 500+wtq all day. Which is a lot of torque anyways
@@Doitfor_E I see this as an absolute win when you consider the cost of buying a hellcat/gt500 or something close to this power level. Plus you don't have to pay the insurance premium that comes with them! Pays for the parts! lol
@@gforce_117that’s what I’ve always said, too. cheaper to build the car yourself once you factor in all that interest being paid on the car as well. Buy a car and pay for two
