Yes really a 4x4 with solid axels, thus the understeer but ideally a multiuse vehicle for farm or country estate use. Only thing they didn't match/consider from LR/RR days is use as dog carrier! The split rear door favors the crowded city where there's little room between cars to lower a gate. I've owned LR 88, 110 Defender and multiple 2-door RR's (gray market in US at the time) and having now test driving the Inios, think it would be appropriate for our farm. Now just a matter of winning the Lotto and convincing my wife! Cheers for a worthy review

It is the old thing … the one person who was most opposed to me marrying my present wife was my previous wife (who left me).Those folk who are most vociferous about the Grenadier (or the new Defender) are old Defender die hards. Old Defenders are no longer made (for a variety of reasons). Time to move on.

Hey, I can’t find our recent message exchange, sorry to be off topic. Was wondering - any thoughts on purchasing a warranty on a used 2013 Range Rover? 120k miles. Can you even get one? If you can, is there a go-to company?

Everyone thinks this is a SUV. It’s made for off roading. It’s a 4x4.

I had one configured and went for a test drive last month. To be honest, I like everything about it except the fact that the steering wheel does not center and I know it would take some time to get used to it, but that was a no-go for me. I almost ended up on the sidewalk.

Design-wise it kind of resembles the old school Defender, but in a sort of conceived by 2 very close cousins sort of way. Oh and raised white letter tires always has and always will be a sin!

I entertained the thought until I saw the dashboard. That's a deal breaker for me.

Really wanted it but very short on the dough.

That front track bar is going to be a problem. Hopefully the aftermarket is going to address that with a guard or relocation kit.

Alpine windows that aren’t……tie down spots, oh OK. Steering wheel seems way too small diameter for off road

LOL, try finding dealer support for this car after they've taken your money. I will depreciate faster than the Challenger Shuttle.
