I totally forgot how much I loved the older Wyrmwood woodworking videos! The behind the scenes, big picture videos are great too, but this was a nice change of pace.

@wyrmwood it look great, I think I would rotate the opener 180* though. That way you are pushing it down to open rather than pulling up, if that doesn't mess with how it attaches to the rail system.

I mean, starting with the strongest is like cooking! It's actually better to OVERsalt things as a new home cook, and learn how much you need to dial back, than starting little and trying to add more over time because you'll always second-guess yourself. I approve of Jason's methodology.

Cool accessory, though I'm pretty sure the opener is mounted upside down. I'd definitely prefer to push the bottle down when opening, rather than lifting it up. Less chance to spill that way.

It's no Tavern Tile, but it'll do. I wonder if you can combo this with a bunch of cup modules? Like, if you buy 6-8 cup modules, they toss in the bottle opener module.

For CNCing you could mount the rail magnets into the bottle opener, then mount a rail to the CNC bed at a 45 degree angle and just let it click in.

A weird bit of trivia, Dado blades are not legal in Europe as they are deemed too dangerous. Only in the US are you allowed to stack up a bunch of blades and hold them together with a nut.

Okay....hear me out...rainbow butcher block style desks, tables, and/or accessories using your scarps of all colors of woods. Seeing all the various woods together was cool.

My first thought was it needed a box to catch the caps. But it looks like it's going to hold the caps magnetically, which is a much better solution overall.

@wyrmwood Need to flip the bottle opener part over so that you push down to open the bottle. Mostly will help you not spill the drinks but should also make the whole thing more stable.

As much as I love seeing Jason back at it, this is making me nervous we are getting GM screen all over again. Promises of more woods and all new accessories that haven't been designed yet even though we are supposed to be in the "month of MGT hype", a disconnect between website, twitter, and RU-vid about what the product offerings are...I really want to be excited for this but I guess I'm still burned from GM screen. Are we going to be buying into a kickstarter where we don't even know what we will be able to buy again?

Do the CNC first, drill holes for the magnets, then cut the corner (using 2 cuts and NOT the dado) then cut the diagonal, chamfer, then cut into pieces.

Charcuterie board yes!!!

Its a great concept but I dont know how much I would use it. whenever i have a group together and we have drinks, we usually open/pour the drinks away from the table. That being said, having a bottle opener by the table wouldnt be a bad idea.

For the CNC, can you just cut a 45 degree channel in a wood block and slide them in? Wish I could draw the cross section, but youtube lacks a drawing pad.
