HI GUYS please read the description for the link to the music video, a disclaimer and an RIP message. we are getting a lot of the same questions so here are the answers to some - please read before commenting! yes, we are aware that Sulli has ended her life, we were very sad about it when it happened. may her soul rest in peace. yes, the MV has english CC if you want to know what the song is saying. the link is in the video and description. we are only critiquing the music video, not the song. the song has nothing to do with DID, only the MV, which is why we are reacting to it only. we are big fans of Sulli, so there is ABSOLUTELY NO hate or malice intended in this video! nothing we say is against Sulli - again, we're just commenting on how well DID was shown in the video. thanks guys!!

tw : suicide the end “i think they all disappeared” could be related to that she was suicidal and did eventually did it, or the producers trying to keep the company in a good light or to not “scare” anyone but this is just my thoughts on it.

We agree that until the end it was good. Also, as a poly-fragmented system, we have had an new alter form in a day, but that was when we were under extreme stress. We are also glad you’re back! And may sweet Sulli rest in peace! f(x) was the first Kpop girl group we ever listened to. - Kaila & Zelda

As a MeU that supported Sulli even after she stopped being a member of f(x), I was really curious to see what someone with DID could tell about Goblin. You made everything clearer. Too bad the ending was like this... Even if some of us interpret it as "she was lying since the beginning", it still sounds not really okay... Really, thank you for your advice. It's actually so refreshing to hear someone talk about her and analyse her art without constant remindings of how it ended.

Disappear meaning die, I should add this is just an assumption but when I was depressed it was easier to refer to it as disappearing rather than unaliving, I'm guessing since Korea is more touchy when it comes to mental health she had to be less graphic with it.

I don't have DID, but in my opinion, at the end, it may have just been the hosts current observations, not necessarily fact. What I think it may have been is the host explaining how she felt and what she observed; basically just talking about her feelings which may or may not have been 100% true. She may have felt like they went away during that time, when they actually didn't, and the line at the end was just her raw observations. I wish to be as respectful as possible so please let me know if you disagree and correct me on anything I may have gotten wrong!

TW: mentions of s*ic*de I tried to look up Sulli's name to see if there were any other materials, but a whole bunch of videos about her committing suicide got pulled up. I'm thinking it's not too far of a stretch to think this is the same Sulli, considering what was shown in the video

Thank you so much for making this video in seperation of what happened to her. I want to enjoy things about Sulli and f(x) without being constantly reminded of that. Great analysis and the criticism is appreciated. Many people try to avoid saying anything that’s not a compliment. That way the compliments and observations feel real

I was thinking, and I think an interesting way to show DID in media would be to do it kinda like Inside Out, where it periodically shows us inside the host's head, and shows the alters interacting with the host, and what switching is like an stuff from an internal perspective from inside the mind.

Another question I have is what does a fronting alter look like to another alter, is it like, someone doing motion capture for a movie, and like, when the alter moves, the body moves? I know that some people has said that it's similar to controlling a puppet, but I'm genuinely interested in what a fronting alter looks like from the inner world, and how that alter controlling the body would be shown in the inner world.

i think “this is about a person with a dissociative disorder” works because of osdd. it might not be fully dissociative identity disorder but still with alters yk? great vid i miss sulli

@@EnchanDID Not sure about bad childhood but she was indeed put under the spotlight from such a young age. She basically spent her whole life being part of the industry and had to endure bullying/cyberbullying and harassment probably since 13-14 untill she took her life at 25 back in 2019

I hope my comments will help! If need be, I can provide a few translation notes as well. Translating Korean to English or vice versa can be very tricky, and unfortunately this video kind of has this on display. @@aday4evr we had someone we knew tell us about the video seemingly portraying DID, so sure, we may have been a little biased. we made this video specifically about how it portrayed our disorder - again, FOR FUN. we love Sulli and loved this MV, there was absolutely no negative emotions towards any of it. we just made it to show people what we thought of the way she portrayed it.
