Cable access. Me too. I moved back to RI in 2002 and was watching him until I moved here to VA in 2020. Can't believe he's on RU-vid now and has millions of subscribers all around the world. I wonder if they know that "Caught" is a play on our RI accent pronouncing "court" which is the same! 😆

Lol !! I love this guy I'm from Montreal Canada and I religiously watch Judge Cario and the crew in caught in providence ! This judge is sympathetic, passionate and compassionate ! However he does play down the law when he needs to. I am sure that he has touched many peoples lives and made them better people. I swear I am actually considering coming down to providence to get a minor parking ticket only to have the honor of standing before this man !! Great work !! Excellent job !!

Some would say "some lazy people brought it onto themselves" I don't really believe that. I can't imagine anyone, who deliberately choose to be miserable. That first case . . . It's hard to be a human being - it really is. You have to pay attention, and keep on top of things, and not assume anything. Being alive is so expensive, and you really can't rely on anyone but yourself. The worst thing you can do is ignore problems - you have to act as best you can and communicate - there is always a better solution if you just communicate! I wish the best for her.

Not really. Municipal courts deal with low level ordinance violations and infractions and some very very minor criminal stuff. The judge's leniency largely exists because of the nature of cases he is involved with. It's also important to note that a lot of traffic violations and infractions are in relation to ordinances and laws passed specifically to generate revenue, not to protect public safety. The judge has stated on more than one occasion that he is NOT a "revenue enhancement officer", hence why he goes out of his way to help people out in 99% of the cases we see.

Judge Caprio is a fair, kind, and merciful man. If I had to go to to court I would want him on the bench. I would know that I would recieve justice with mercy. He is a great man.

She has more incidents that I ever have! A few parking tickets and 2 speeding tickets, but I did what you should do, pay them. Last 40 years nothing. Obey the rules and you don't get penalized. He s a fair judge though, give him credit for that.

I don’t know her situation, but I got the feeling that there’s more going on than meets the eye in the first case. I didn’t feel like she was trying to be rebellious or have attitude, she looked like she was struggling to keep things together and in, but she did. She admitted fault and didn’t come up with any excuses or a sob story, and I applaud her for that. That’s extremely hard to do, especially when you’re having a hard time in life. Hope she’s doing well, and has the issues resolved. ❤️

Elizabeth is clearly in some deep sh*t. You can see shes at the point of breaking down throughout the interview. she looks tired and depressed. I think the judge did a good thing. letting her off the hook entirely would just promote more misbehaviour... but this was a very humane solution. You can see he actually wanted to let her off, but he knew that that wouldnt help her. She needs some consequences to change. its a shame judges cant sentence someone to get help in these cases, because she clearly needs it.

American public. Goes to a courtroom and keeps using the term "sucks" in front of a judge. Who does that? Next thing you know he'll be dropping an "F" bomb in court and believing it's perfectly fine
