Paul is joined by Nathan Pearce to give a demonstration of how to run through the Self Awareness component of a Balanced Runner session.
This is the first time Paul & Nathan have worked together, and is an exact demonstration of the first half of all introductory Balanced Runner Session.
During the demonstration you can see the method and process with which Paul uses to break down technique and what the athlete is feeling, prior to beginning on the gait re-training. This is the start of the 'Old Way', with the 'New Way' to come after the Technique cue is practiced.
Nathan is a former Australian representative at Junior World Cross and has PBs of 3m50s for 1500m and 8m19s for 3000m, but this is the same process used for runners of all levels.
