a new friendship blossoms.
a few days ago i ritualistically decided to go to the mountains to dance and get a dose of mother nature. this time i discovered a whole new trail that i've never been to before. i was scoping out some flat ground that i could dance on, and found the perfect lil spot. when i go up in the mountains, usually i pick 1 song to dance to because i lose service and i'm not able to scroll through my spotify playlists. today my song choice was "soundtrack 2 my life" by kid cudi. while i was dancing, someone came up to where i was with a guitar slung around his back. i said hello and kept dancing, and he turned back down the path as to not want to intrude. i stopped the music real quick and asked if he came up there to play guitar. i ended up asking him if he could play guitar while i dance. ironically enough, his favorite song to play on the guitar was a kid cudi song. sometimes these really ironic things happen in life that almost seem like you're in a movie. like you're so in flow and on your own path, that the universe rewards you. i've been practicing not overthinking so much, trusting my intuition, and when something feels right - to let it be. ridiculously grateful for moments like these. we ended up talking through the sunset, about our lives, our losses, our lessons. when you're coming from a place of love, and you meet someone who's coming from the same place, it almost seems too good to be true. but it's not, and these interactions can happen to you, too :) you just gotta be open to receive. you attract what you think !
