A Wander at Grimwith Reservoir with fellow RU-vidrs
I recently got the chance to meet up again with several RU-vidrs we met on a hiking meet up last year at Lordstones Country Park. In addition we met Paul and Kim from Wandering with Watto and Kim'spics59 respectively, who had made the trip north for the collaboration. Sadly the windy weather played havoc with my audio.
However, a great time was had by all in this lovely part of the Yorkshire Dales.

Haha, yes, was not in a swooping mood but the day was brilliant, so good in fact I hardly filmed anything, thank goodness I answered 4 subscriber questions, which I was going to spilt over future videos but ended up having to include them all due to my lack of footage lol. It was dam windy on the day but as we had sun too, I was happy with that, cheers Alan

It is great to get out in a hike/ramble with other like-minded individuals. I'm actually subscribed to all of them. I hiked once with Steven, aka A Tramp In The Hills, and he said something that was spot on. Six RU-vidrs can hike the same hike, and you get six completely different videos. It is so true. Thanks for sharing, Andy.

It was a great day out with everyone. The walk was good, not too strenuous. The wind, however, prevented those who had brought along drones from flying them. Which was a shame as some ariel footage would have been great. Thanks for watching.

We did Cara. It was great to meet up with Watto and Kim. I'd previously met everyone else but it was good to see them all again. We'll have to see if we're all available when you do your 'Tour of Britain'.

Hi Andy, what a wonderful group of RU-vidrs to wander out and about with! YOu captured some stunning shots of the water. It was quite a pleasant place to visit, free parking and the walk wasn't to difficult. It would be an ideal place to get back into walking. Not far from the pretty village of Grassington too.

Looked like a beautiful day for a walk despite the wind. I was noticing the lack of trees around the lake...is that due to deforestation or do they just not naturally grow in that area? I did notice at 5:30 that it looks like some trees have been planted. Just curious. Nice to have such a meetup with the other channels, looked like a lot of fun! Thanks for the look around Andrew!

Hi Paul, I think the reservoir is man made, there was a reference to it on the sign for the farmhouse at the other end of the reservoir. Most of the surrounding area seemed to be grazing land for sheep. The area at the other end where the conifer trees did have so deciduous trees suggesting that they were the natural inhabitants and the pines were added later.
