Still almost the same shit here since around late 2017 (same people being accused, same basic ideas, same initial evidence, ...), despite all the hysteria.
This is so unfair! Who hasn't accused a neighbour of witchcraft and gotten them burnt because they were having a bad day! Cancel culture is going too far! We're here for you, queen, when you're ready to lie about women you don't like again :).
minor correction- witches during the Salem witch trials weren't burnt. they were hanged, imprisoned, or, in the case of Giles Corey, pressed to death with stones.
Freedom of speech means if you don't agree with someone, you either discuss it or walk away. Cancel culture is wrong, it's censorship. And as far as making mistakes, he or she who has never accidentally or intentionally hurt someone should cast the first stone. People make mistakes and errors in judgment. She asked for forgiveness and realized her mistake. What more can a person who is equally imperfect ask?
People in this comments section are being so quick forgive her but please remember that she literally had her neighbour burned at the stake in her last video. She deserves to be cancelled! And if you're not a witch it's not your place to accept this apology!
Lmao, I love how the comments are usually always like this in a RU-vid apology video, like normally they aren't wrong but it's usually very repetitive and you captured it perfectly, bravo.
But it's all about context. I mean the potato harvest WAS poor last October. Furthermore something darkened the sky a few weeks ago in the middle of the day! I mean she couldn't PROVE it was her but the daylight has been steady since.
Poisonous gossip carriage. Chugging down the trail of misinformation Poisonous gossip cArriAahaAge Log rolling over someone's Reputation The only thing I've ever groomed is my two brown stallions 'Tis that I'm not a groomer, Just a loser
"I will take a break of acusing women of being witches " 2 seconds ago: it was a mistake that my neighbour put a spell on my flowers... but like she did.
Fun fact: my ancestress was one of the accused in Salem village. According to family lore, her grandson was a prankster and LOVED to play pranks on his innocent grandma.
My aunt once did the family tree and to her horror the only person of note was a judge at the Salem Witch trials. Goodie Waddle (spelling varies), he ended up selling up his farm, moving back to the UK and drank himself to an early grave in a small room overlooking Newcastle docks.
Goody was not a first name back then; it was short for Goodwife. The male equivalent was Goodman. That name also doesn’t appear in the list of judges in the records from Salem. I’m not trying to be contrarian here; but I grew up in what used to be part of Salem, and I know a lot of the history. I’m just curious because this sounds like an interesting piece of history if correct.
lmao right, she actually mentioned what she was accused of and slightly proved her fault, youtubers just dodge the topic all together and cry dryly for sympathy
That pause to give what almost looks like a smirk at the end of the video and then using that moment to blow out a candle: filmmaking perfection right there! 😄
Wow, I can't believe people are treating you so unfairly! This mob mentality is so toxic 😞 I wish there were a term for what you're going through, being singled out like this by the haters and then relentlessly pursued and given this out of proportion punishment! /j
I feel that this apology is missing something...perhaps a little tune about a hazardous locomotive played using a certain musical instrument that has strings.
Now I'm kind of curious, did anyone who accused someone of being a witch ever end up apologizing? The most I'm aware of is that a few witchfinders said "We were wrong this time..."
Actually yes. Look up Ann Putnam Jr. She was the only girl who had accused people who recanted. You can read her confession which she gave when she joined the church as an adult. She says the whole thing was a “great delusion of Satan”.
If this were today the media woukd be full of stories about how terribly, tragically painful this experience was for the girls who were getting people killed.
I get it, but being emotional and having’ cry voice’ with dry eyes is normal and natural. Hate that lack of empathy and that body language pseudoscience has people ruining other peoples lives because they think they’re liars.❤
All that was missing was the part where they promise to "seek treatment" for the addiction/mental health problems they want to implicitly blame their bad behavior on, or at least gain sympathy from. RU-vidrs like this never bother to explain however, why depression and a pill habit would ever cause someone to become racist/a serial rapist/or make a humorous video about that one time they went to a Japanese suicide forest.
I love this video. To be pedantic, at least one of the judges gave a genuine apology for the trials a number of years after they ended . He had some good views (anti-slavery), but was blinded by his fervent Protestantism (afraid of Quakers)
Not going to lie, but this is very accurate, and also I may not entirely know how they would have acted if they were held accountable back then, but I can very much assume they would have acted like this as well.
