Today i installed and test the pedal commander on my friends cars and got there reaction and opinions. Link to Pedal Commander: pedalcommander.com/products/p... Link to 4th Gen Pedal Commander Video: • Acura TL 4th Gen Pedal...
Nice job. I have one of these installed on my 2008 tl type S - auto for some time now. It works great!! The throttle response is phenomenal. I use sport mode +2 primarily. Highly recommended.
@@tltype-s357 , a noticeable amount. Every person I demonstrate it with is pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness. Stock it feels like the pedal has to be pushed in way more to get the revs up. The pedal commander increases sensitivity and the revs are more instantaneous.
I would have unloaded 2 cans of brake cleaner. I noticed you have your fan heater blower on but I don’t see Ac/OFF .If the heat/ac is not selected off the clutch is engaged. You can clearly hear it click on and off When you select an deselect. your loosing Hp
@@jeromed1825 true somewhat but, with the tl it electric throttle it opens like 20% and slowly opens to like 99%. This mod allows the throttle to move as if it’s a cable throttle and whip open instantly if it’s at the highest level.
3 years late but for $350 I finally installed it in my 07 TLS 6M and got dayyyyum it’s a game changer. Crazy af at the improvement. Got a Tsudo exhaust + J-pipe and trying to add manifold spacer + intake before I get her tuned. Anybody have any other recommendations for bolt ons? Dunno if I want straight pipe due to increased noise? Also the the thing I noticed none of y’all mention was tightening up the throttle cable. At 140,000 miles mine was hella loose so I tightened it and noticed a dramatic increase in throttle response from that alone.
So if you turn off pedal Comander it will turn back on with the last mode you used.. if you have pedal Comander active and closed the app and didn’t turn it off it will be on that last mode until you go in and turn it off even if the car is turn off and on it will still remain in that mode until you go in and disable it
Hi, once all plugged up ... where did you install the unit. I have a 2014 Honda Ridgeline with the same setup and was wondering where do you place the head unit.
@@TheDerrty111 check out SMP performance channel he also has a IG sells a whole kit with the manifold . His TL type s is insane . Tell em Meta recommended
I’ve got an 04 base and I just did the 3.7 mani and TB swap and it’s a very noticeable difference on power and throttle response and I just got the pedal commander that I’ll be installing and testing this weekend. Looking very forward to it and I hope I don’t blow my engine lol. Glad I just changed out my motor mounts!
Got a question for you. Are you still running the Pedal Commander now? Did it have any issues being in the hot engine compartment rather than being in the cabin? I just got mine and so far it’s a night and day difference than stock but I live in Phoenix and the engine bay is hot as F and I’m worried the PC controller will overheat. Thx bra!
I do not run anymore I got it just to try it out. In Fresno ca gets up to 114 and I have guys running it no issues would be nice to have extended wires to be inside but overall it’s seems to be working properly. 4th Gen pedal comander sits inside the cabin which is way better but yeah
@@Mythik559 right on thx. I’m gonna see if maybe I can run it thru the fw on the passenger side and place it in the glove box this weekend. I also contacted PC and asked if they could make and sell an extension cable. Will see what they say. 🤙🏽
Lol. He claims it was pulling him back. The HP does not change from these. Might change the initial throttle response by a half of a millisecond. Waste of money if you ask me.
@@crg4869 you can swap a 07-08 type S ECU in with a conversion. Costs around $1200 all together. ECU/Hondata or Ktuner/harness converter. Search acurazine for the Write Up!
I need timing belt, water pump & belt pulley tensioner, also need right upper control arm changed , driving a 2000 tl base, getting better all the time, taking it slow 🙂
I'm 65 years old, bought my TL brand new, it's stock except for black windows on black paint job. Don't laugh, but do youi know that if your timing belt breaks, it ruins the engine? ...I would change that belt with a FACTORY ONE, or one that has a great reputation.
@@lucastheproducer995 brother we try it on a 6speed and auto the pedal comander does what it say, get throttle respond very sensitive, changes the driving expirience, the guys loved it, so maybe today i will try it on my car💪🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@lucastheproducer995 i justvwish it was cheaper, like 100 cheaper, but another cool thing, is that you can also down load pedal comander app on phone and control setting from your phone, with out touching the devicr, pretty cool
