Dude, always love your vids. I kind of appreciate you keepin the "S" series alive and well. As to your question about the difference in the ZR2 suspension....... the control arms are the same width although the ZR2 arms are boxed. I am not sure about the non Z arms. The extra width comes from different mounting points. The ZR2 half shafts (or CV shafts) are longer. I have wondered if the Rough Country Lifts could be modified to work. I have the SuperLift 6" on my ZR2 Blazer and the lower crossmembers could be fabbed fairly easily. I just dont know how close the Rough Country frame brackets are to the SuperLift to know if they are interchangeable. You need to find a true ZR2 and do a comparison. Cheers.
Walt, I rewatched your vid and saw the comments about front clunking. Double check the steering stabilzer if you have one. Mine hits at full lock. It is dented somewhat now. I am about to pull it and see what effect it has if any. Cheers.
Oh man that is something I didn't even think of 👍 it's been driving me nuts 🤣 LOL hopefully that's all it is thanks Phil !! I really appreciate your input 🤠
Your stance is amazing on that truck do you know if those are stock fenders, u really got that unique look. Also what year Silverado 1500, shocks are you running in the front I want to get those arms but don’t know what shocks to get thanks
Thanks man I appreciate the the comment!! 2002 Chevy 1500 rear shocks. I miss my Sonoma a lot and yes stock fenders with OEM flares I got at the salvage yard off a 2001 S10 ZR2 it was baby blue I just made my own bracket and used really wide 3M tape.
What clock spring would I need? & after a different new clock spring would it be plug in play from there or would there be a few more thing? Are the seats plug in play and did the seats come from a s10 or Sonoma?
Yep seat's plug and play for the steering wheel controls you have to have the clock spring behind the airbag it has extra wires that plug in underneath the dash by the steering column.
@@waltersteffensthezr2man431 thank you. I'm just looking for basic wheels nothing fancy just so they will fit. Looking at the ion 177 bullet hole style.
Already in the dash my friend little tricky to find but it's there! The clock spring wires plug into it is up under the column it's like a two inch plug. Good luck bro!
