This channel was originally made to show all the S10/sonoma Crew cab owners the RC 6-in lift would fit their truck I'm truly appreciative of all the interest that people show in this channel!
Did you ever solve it? I have a high idle problem at coldcstarts. 3000 rpms and stays there awhile. Once it drives, it's normal and turns on and off normal until engine is cold.
Sounds like your idle air control sensor. Plus you want to make sure your throttle body is not sticking or gummed up. And yes as far as fixing it I put the original ECM back in and sold it for my new ZR2. Found out a couple years later with the real problem is with those 4.3s it's in the crappy distributor you need to buy a good high-performance distributor you'll never have those problems again.
In regards to multiple random misfire found out it is the OEM distributor you either have to shim it or replace it with a high performance distributor. Wish I would have known this years ago lol.
Yeah, that truck looks Beastly and i like the blue paint. I own an older pickup, no lift a typical work truck just 2wd, but i drove way into the forest anyways and what stoppedme was ice and over say 14inch of snow. Riding on some AT's stock size and ordered a set of new wheels and tires to throw on it. Later in life i'll build up a better overlander. Currently tires are a 235 and the new ones also a 235.
@waltersteffensthezr2man431 rcv is the only way to go. first time you get that 37 in some rocks and try and turn with power on. Pop. Hubs would be a sound investment as well for running a tire that big.
It's a program to recalibrate tire size so your speedometer is correct you can also recalibrate for different gears it's just a small little programmer you get for like 300 bucks from rough country!
@@waltersteffensthezr2man431 Oh, that’s neat! I’m wanting to go to 33s on my ZR2, would you recommend me getting this? Also, do you know what mods you were getting with 33s?
@@TheZR2Kid you can fit 285 70 17s with just a 1.5 leveling kit ! That's equivalent to a 32.8 I'm in the tire business so I'm pretty familiar with sizes.
@@TheZR2Kid you don't need to recalibrate your speedometer with 33s You're only talking 1.5 in bigger your speedometer will only be off by 2 mph max if that!!
Did just fine with 35's I've got the pedal monster it makes a big difference and as far as the 37's I'm already hunting for ⚙️ gears 😂 I can get by without but my MPG went back down to 13 which is really bad
With an OEM style wheel and a BDS 4-in lift you have to run a 1.5 spacer The reason I say that I wouldn't run anything less because you have half nuts which I highly am against they strip out too easily currently I'm running the 1.5 in the front and a 2 in the rear GM has always been slightly wider in the front end!
Hub centric only I got mine on eBay I want to say they were $80 for the set you can spend $200 on a set of high quality ones but as long as you torque them you should be just fine!!
Ain't nothing like a mid-size 4x4 running on 35's. I use to run 40's, 44's on full size vehicles just decided to go a different route and wish that I had started earlier not to say anything wrong with the full size 4x4 vehicles enjoyed it while I owned it in my younger days about to turn 60 years old and I have realized that I prefer the solid axle mid-size 4x4 vehicles again not knocking it I have gotten older and my preference has changed. Enough about me, again I really enjoy the content in your video's. Keep up the great work/video's.
Great job man! I like when they say it won’t fit/ can’t be done and someone does it! They look great too! I’m thinking about going this route myself now. And can’t go wrong with that price. Keep up the great content! 😎👍🏼
I really enjoy your video's and especially how you keep proving these manufacturers wrong stating the product will NOT fit NOR work , KEEP UP THE GREAT VIDEO'S AND ENJOY YOUR CONFIDENCE AND DETERMINATION AS TO IT WILL WORK, GREAT LOOKING COLORADO definitely a change from your GMC SONOMA.
Don't do it!! An OEM ZR2 frame in the front is 3 in wider in total The crossmembers will not work! Superlift and BDS were the only companies to ever make a lift kit for your blazer!
1.5 body lift 1.5 level 4-in BDS lift kit! And yes I definitely been struggling with the idea of going with 37s I know it would look better but my fuel mileage would go back down and factory gears truthfully are too high for 37s but somehow I still want to do it lol
I had 3 oem sets on wheels and and 1 Oem set of steel wheels. I gave 1 zr2 set to my friend. I have a set of fallen wildpeak at3w as the daily tires. A set of 34x10.50/17 swamper ons another zr2 set of wheels as the off road redneck mud setup. The steelies I will do a bolt on bead lock thing and do some 35x10/17 swampers
nice truck man! I got an 04 black extended cab with a canopy and a 7" lift that runs off regular/natural gas. the guy that sold it to me had c4 corvette rims on it, so I just got new tires and kept them on it. great trucks.
Interesting fact 2004 The only s10s or sonomas available were crewcabs. 2003 was the last year for the extended cab. I sold that truck a couple years ago! I just didn't have the space to keep it.
No sir I wish I could!! It took me years to figure out the difference between a standard 4x4 lift kit and a ZR2 lift kit the frame in the front is 3 in total wider 1.5 inch per side all other components except for front diff are the same. ZR2 has a cast iron front diff 373 gears, 3 in wider.
Outfitter design makes a bracket for the older arm to upgrade to a 1ton Chevy idler arm setup. Might as well do that. The oe idler arm will continue to be a problem
Hi little brother will those door panels fit my 2002? Your big brother Rob in Nova Scotia, don't let the Petter Pann fool you it's a long story, lol, God Bless.
Oh wow I just watched this cheesy video I made a while back those were two extra pucks left over from the zone body lift The only reason there were two leftover is because the body lift also works on a full size bed which I'm assuming has two more bolts.
